Solid hot dogs, & good veggie dog options. A little dirty, a little dingy, but some fun can be had (if you’re drunk enough). A pool table takes up half of a “dance floor,” & a DJ frequently helps the energy. Some booth, table, & bar seating, as well as a fairly squalid outdoor area one could call a patio. Cocktails are overpriced for the atmosphere, & a members-only policy can make getting in a slight hassle. Half the time, one of the washrooms is out of...
I love this place...always down to earth and chill. They do have a couple really good cocktails and a bunch of fancy hot dog creations. Also...very likely spot for running into cute dogs ;).
The Barksdale is a dope place! The only place you can get a drink and a wrestling themed hotdog, that will make even the average "hotdog hater" a bit curious, and then converted intona Barksdale hot dog eater. The wrestling themed hotdogs go perfectly with the ambiance as professional wrestling memorabilia lines the walls for complete experience.
