Came up to see the Friday night comedy show with Cy Amundson. Was there for both shows, and they were great. All the comics were great, and the atmosphere was awesome. Very inviting. Smaller space around 50 or so each show.Cy killed it in my book and got to meet him after the show. Modelface Comedy put on a great show. Joe Zimmerman even dropped in as a special guest. This place is super chill. I was there on a Saturday night and it wasn't super busy which was a relief because there were a lot of us and everywhere else we'd been had been insanely loud. There was a very nice selection of beer and the bartender, not sure of his name, was super super friendly. There was a live band playing when we got there, kind of like a funk style band. Stuck here in Asheville with a broken down vehicle. Completely unexpected, this bar has let us hang out for multiple hours, even though we don’t smell great, aren’t showered, and have our young dog with us (she is might behaved though).
