“Amazing place to hangout and have beers. Good beers like the Gaelic Ale. Have a seasonal lime lager called Cerveza. Have volleyball courts where on Fridays it’s 5$ pick up volleyball irrespective of ur skill level u can join the fun. Has food truck on the property.“

“First perk was plenty of parking. The whole location was very impressive upon walking in. All of the staff were great and happy to be there. This is different from the original Burial locations and they nailed the theme here. Plenty of great options to drink, including wine and mixed drinks. The food selection was good and mostly well priced. Our favorite part was exploring the property and it's rich history. So much room for gatherings big and small. Next time I would like to do a tour though.“

“Nice variety of unusual food vendors. You can get regular ice cream or vegan ice cream with a gluten free cone for example. The new Flour Cafe has outstanding coffee options. It’s worth going out of your way to get to if you are a coffee enthusiast.“

“Awesome, unique selection of sours (my favorite). I particularly enjoyed the Emo Nightmare sour, which tasted like fruity pebbles. A fun place to watch the Olympics! There is some outdoor seating as well and pinball machines inside. Right next to a craft cocktail bar.“

“I’ve been here for brewery tours twice and have had a great time both times. One of the tours was the 90 minute tour yesterday and it was super fun and funny and informative. I’m amazed and impressed by all the sustainability measures they’ve undertaken. We got to try decent-sized pours of three different beers. Our tour guide, Keion, was awesome. The Liquid Center after the tour was great as well. Super chill and beer tasted great and food trucks were a perfect bonus. Thanks!“

Great selection of beers. Noticed more stouts in tap here during the summer than other places near by. Tried their Cloud Farm IPA that was delicious.
They offer Dot’s Pretzels to purchase inside at the bar and also have a food truck located outside that serves pizza.
Inside and outside seating. Outside seating is dog friendly and they also offer lawn chairs to sit in the lawn(see picture).
Free parking lots nearby. Plenty of parking.“

“Stopped in here for a couple pints while checking out the river arts district. A great brewery!! Friendly staff, helped us out with a couple samples to see what we liked. Enjoyed the beers we had along with the vibe. Looking forward to sampling more breweries in Asheville and glad we started with this one!“

“Very nice place. The mini golf is amazing. It’s a much better experience than most mini golf’s. There’s people hanging out even if they are not playing and makes nice atmosphere. Staff is great. Drinks and food taste great.

Hopefully they’ll add a pickleball game or other fun game. The place is a destination into itself.“

“Super cool basement bar. Loved the atmosphere of walking down the stairs to this underground hangout. Their beer was delicious and unique. Also shoutout to their Seltzer which was delicious and not too sweet! We sat at the bar and got to talk to the head brewer who you could tell was very passionate about his job. If we lived in Asheville this would definitely be our hangout spot!“

“This is likely our favorite brewery in Asheville! We have a wonderful experience every time we visit which is unfortunately every few years, but always worth the wait. We stopped in last Monday afternoon and were welcomed immediately, the bartender from Denver who I unfortunately didn’t get his name was one of the nicest people we’ve met in a long time. We stayed longer than anticipated because we were having such an enjoyable time with great beers! Their tap list ranges from basic lagers to breakfast porters and many things in between. They have some beer options to go in this location, for merchandise we went next door to the main Green Man brewery. You can’t beat the vibe here at Dirty Jacks though, can’t wait until we can visit again!“

“The vibes here are immaculate. Burial Beer Co. is the perfect morbid brewery. From the small details such as scythes for door handles to the beer names, this brewery was a good time. There is a gift shop and a ton of outdoor seating, including the option to sit in 2 run down vehicles. Inside the building there are 2 bars to purchase beer. If the line is long just go to the other one. We went on a Saturday night and it was very active with families and individuals.“

“Had a great visit to Green Man Brewery. I enjoyed the Buxton BLTP with fries, while my wife enjoyed Jack's Grilled Cheese and my step-son enjoyed the South Slope Smash Burger. I paired my lunch with the Green Man IPA. Cool and refreshing, for a hot end-of-summer day!

“I rented out this space for my rehearsal dinner and my welcome drinks for my wedding in June of 2024. Lisa was the best! The space was perfect for a low key night. We had around 75 people there, my dog was able to kick it, and there were kids running around outside playing. The space had everything we needed and the staff were all really great! They were gracious hosts and did everything I asked in preparation. It was also a very affordable option. We were even able to set up a slide show that played on repeat while guest were ordering drinks at the bar!“

“One of my favorite breweries in Asheville, and that's saying something, because the competition is fierce. French Broad has some excellent beers. The wee heavy and kolsch are probably the two big favorites but I really haven't had any that aren't above average. The staff is really nice, very helpful. The atmosphere is laid back and unpretentious, which is welcome after visiting some of the trendy places in the central beer district. The pizza is also really good, too, surprisingly.
I'm from Cincinnati, which has a pretty robust brewery scene, and French Broad is the only brewery that I make absolutely sure I hit every time I go to Asheville. On merit alone, it's up there with the best breweries I've ever been to, and they aren't pricing the product in the same way that many other places do, which means on value, there's really nothing that comes close to French Broad.“

“Went for the beer and will return for the food. While the beer was slightly above average, the food was amazing. We had fried pickles and scampi fries. The box of pickles was full to the absolute top so its definitely for sharing with a crowd. The Scampi Fries were to die for. I've been wanting more since we left!“
