“Our first stop on our first trip to Asheville. Discovered this when looking for walkable dining from Cedar Crest Inn. If you don’t mind a little bit without sidewalks, it was an easy 20 minutes. We split a rice bowl and artichoke dip which was plenty for us and enjoyed a variety of beverages throughout. Food was great especially for a brewery, and the beer is among top-tier. Lots of seating, though outdoor was a little limited and a bit buggy by the creek in the backyard. Staff was really friendly and attentive, and the venue was fun and well kept. Hoping to make some time to come back!“
“This place is great! Great beer, Great Vibes, great views. A fabulous place to people watch, kick back and have a good time on a date night or with a group of friends. Can be chilly in the cooler times of the year since it is next to the river. Only complaint is that their hours are very inconsistent and it is a crapshoot to see if they will be open past 5pm on a FRIDAY NIGHT.“
“Well I am definitely surprised and loved the ginger beers. As all can tell from my reviews I drink a lot of craft beers. This is by far an excellent break from the normal beer scene and wish they were in Florida for those real hot days. Bartender made excellent recommendations. I would suggest getting flights here to get a real good idea of the varying to lavors.“

“First time here and we came for brunch! Very friendly staff and quick service! I ordered the shrimp and grits and my boyfriend had the bread pudding waffle and chicken. Both were impeccable. And they did not skimp on the shrimp in the grits! That creole sauce on top of the dish was chefs kiss. Can’t wait to come here again!“
“I love a good dark beer and this place had one that was dark and really smooth, lacking that awful bitterness that some dark beers get. It’s so cozy inside! I love being there. Lots of plants. “Great bar any location you visit. This location is their distribution center and has a brewery too. Outside seating and I sides seating. Dog friendly. Great beer selection. I got a double ipa that did not dissappoint. Pricing is on par with other local breweries. They offer snacks and soft pretzels at bar. They have a side food cart that I believe offers hot dogs and nachos. Free parking lot and a good amount of parking available.“

A little cheese and corn empanada snack from Mikasa Criolla was tasty if but just a tad over salted. We also enjoyed the chicken plate from Bun Intended. Excellently fried and crispy. There's a small amount of parking at the lower level with a larger lot up the hill & behind. If you park in the larger lot, you can take stairs or the elevator to the lower level. We sat ourselves at the bar and were greeted by Tyler who is thoroughly engaging and has a great deal of beer knowledge. No questions of any kind were left unanswered. They had a special on their Rabbit Rabbit beer for $5 that day, and it was a great light beer.They have indoor seating and a large covered patio that is pet friendly. Family friendly also.“

“This is likely our favorite brewery in Asheville! We have a wonderful experience every time we visit which is unfortunately every few years, but always worth the wait. We stopped in last Monday afternoon and were welcomed immediately, the bartender from Denver who I unfortunately didn’t get his name was one of the nicest people we’ve met in a long time. We stayed longer than anticipated because we were having such an enjoyable time with great beers! Their tap list ranges from basic lagers to breakfast porters and many things in between. They have some beer options to go in this location, for merchandise we went next door to the main Green Man brewery. You can’t beat the vibe here at Dirty Jacks though, can’t wait until we can visit again!“

I ordered the pilsner which was the lightest beer they had. Even though it was a light beer it still had a bit of happiness to it. We were there about 3 hrs and everyone in our party and their normal customers were all having a blast.“

“This place is super chill. I was there on a Saturday night and it wasn't super busy which was a relief because there were a lot of us and everywhere else we'd been had been insanely loud. There was a very nice selection of beer and the bartender, not sure of his name, was super super friendly. There was a live band playing when we got there, kind of like a funk style band. Very cool The patio was nice as well. There was plenty of seating and much easier to converse with your party. I ordered the lime something lager. I can't remember the exact name. It was very crisp and refreshing. Would definitely go back.“
“Wow, Hi-Wire Big Top knows how to throw an event. I stopped by with a friend for A Court of Thorns and Roses themed event and I was blown away. They used their event space, which was my first time in that space. It was huge, well decorated, had it's own bar as well as a DJ for the event. The turnout was huge and the costumes were immaculate. While we were there we noticed posters for a wrestling event they were hosting the next day, so we decided to check that out as well. Another A+++ event. It was the first time I heard about the wrestling event but I was told it happens monthly. It was extremely entertaining, hilarious, and the crowd was so into it. I highly recommend checking it out. There's a food truck on site with burgers, so come hungry. I'll be keeping my eye on the event calendar for future unique events.“
“Definitely don't miss the onion fries! My burger was good and I would get it again... classic, and juicy, what more could you ask for. The beer selection is decent, but we happened to drop in during trivia and the music is crazy loud between questions. Our service was adequate. I sat at the bar right inside on a Saturday afternoon, not many others around, but I definitely appreciated the chill vibe, unlike some other breweries around that were jam packed.The gentleman behind the bar was polite and helpful with both me and other customers I observed while sitting at the bar.I had a few of the IPAs, as well as the Koji Quad, which was outstanding and added some interesting flavor profiles to a style of beer I enjoy quite frequently.Definitely worth a visit on your brewery tour around the area.“

French Broad Pizza was just what we wanted, huge slices, fresh from the oven, delicious ingredients and reasonable prices considering the size of the pizzas. The pizza counter is in the rear of French Broad Brewery and the neighboring distillery. It's very charming and has outdoor seating on its deck. We really enjoyed the pizza and the setting. “It is a nice lil spot, visited for the reggae show. They've got food over at french broad pizza, which has more than just pizza, salads and subs too. Didnt get a chance to try out the brewery's selection of items. Also, they have a tiny area besides the pizza thats just a few tables and its on the grass. Its a super relaxing area to chill and take a break, I wish more places had a spot like this.Indoor space good for small events, but I couldnt figure out where the outdoor space for larger events is (maybe parking lot?)“
“I had a really good experience. I went with my family and our waiter was gracious and really seemed to be paying attention to what we needed. He didn't push drinks or dessert on us which I appreciated. My one issue was I ordered a half pound burger and it definitely was not an 8 oz patty it was maybe 5-6 ounces.“
“Hidden gem bar. One of our favorites! To get to the Belgium bar you meter the facility at street level then by the bar is the staircase to the Belgium bar that is downstairs. Great beer selection and all we tried was delicious. Bartender was great as well.Make sure to meet Arthur the pink elephant and get your picture with him!Parking is limited. Some paid street parking but paid parking lots nearby.“
