5 Best Craft Breweries near Brevard

Oskar Blues Brewery Taproom Brewery • $
342 Mountain Industrial Dr, Brevard

“I was prepared to write a '5', but in truth there were a number of small things that kept me from going there. First, it's a cool space off the beaten track. The beer is good, the mural is superb. The house food truck was passable. I was expecting a little higher standard on the sandwiches, but I may be a bit picky.
And the fryer was down. No fault there - they've got a new one on the way.
My biggest critique was the number of aggressive dogs there. I take my dog to a fair number of taprooms around the country, and honestly - many of these (6+) would've been 86'd by staff at most taprooms. My dog loves to interact, and would not have understood the aggressiveness.“

“Brevard Brewing Company is a standout gem right on Main Street, perfectly capturing the laid-back, welcoming vibe of downtown Brevard. Whether you are wrapping up a long day of hiking in the nearby forests or just looking for a relaxed spot to unwind, this brewery delivers on all fronts.
One of its biggest logistical perks is the hassle-free experience; you do not have to stress about downtown parking because there is ample free parking just around the corner. Step inside and you will find an exceptionally clean, well-maintained space that effortlessly accommodates crowds. The layout features plenty of comfortable bar space for solo visitors or couples, alongside numerous tables perfect for larger groups. Of course, the real highlight is the drink menu. They specialize in outstanding, German-inspired beers that are exceptionally well-crafted, crisp, and refreshing. Even better, they offer great, wallet-friendly prices that make ordering a second pint an easy decision. It is a fantastic, unpretentious local staple where great value meets quality brewing.“
