“A great little spot tucked away not far from downtown Brevard. Authentic food with a small food store connected next door. Cozy interior seating limited on rainy days. Outside picnic tables for additional seating when the weather cooperates. For a small taqueria I’d definitely eat here when in town and would be a good staple if we lived closer. Reasonably priced and friendly staff make it feel like you’re right at home. Enjoy cheers!!”

“This place in my opinion is the best of Brevard. The service is impeccable , the French inspired food is served in large portions, at a nominal cost. The chef is French, so that explains why the food is so good, do not pass up the opportunity to eat here, make reservations.”

“I ordered a Birthday cake for my Aunt,white cake buttercream frosting. I asked for spring flowers as the decoration. I could not have been more pleased with the cake I picked up!!! It as perfect in EVERY way. The frosting was some of the best I have ever eaten and the flowers were PERFECT! I wish I lived closer to Brevard so I could try more of their products. I have family in Brevard and you can bet that anytime I need anything bakery related THIS Bakery will get my business! Thanks to all the friendly staff for a wonderful experience!”

“We stopped for an early dinner. The service was great. We had beef salad, basil Ramen with beef, vegetable spring rolls, Pad Bangkok broccoli with chicken and Thai iced tea. Everything was fresh and delicious.”

“We were seeking a nice place for drinks and appetizer so decided to check out the Jordan Street Cafe. On a Sunday night it was one of just a couple of restaurants opened in downtown Brevard. It is on Jordan Street with a Public Parking lot across the street. The restaurant offers inside dining, a bar/lounge area and a patio. We sat at the bar and enjoyed our wine and beer along with their Rainbow Trout Fish Spread. The Fish Spread has melted cheese on top and is served in a homemade bread bowl with toasted pieces of bread. It is very good. The bread is made daily so it was very fresh. The bartender was most helpful and friendly. You order at the counter in the venue you choose to dine in. Since we were sitting at the bar it was very simple. Once you order you get a number with food served as it is ready. For our casual evening it was perfect and relaxing. A quiet night at the cafe.”

“My family grew up camping in the blue ridge mountains for 18 years!!! Once we discovered it at the whistle stop country store, it became a family tradition to stop and pick up a few loaves of the blueberry lemon bread to take with us on picnics!!! I think we’ve tried nearly every flavor and there is NOT A SINGLE ONE I wouldn’t recommend!!! While typing this review, my husband asked “what ya doin” and I replied with “do you remember that blueberry lemon bread from when we went camping with my family” and he immediately replied “YES!”… it has been 4 years and he only tried it twice!! If that is not a true testament to how AMAZING this bread is, I don’t know what is!”

“The employees working the drive thru are always so sweet and friendly... My drink of choice is a blonde sugar free vanilla iced latte. This is the beverage I get everytime I go to Starbucks and it is just as good everytime. Also I love that they give pup cups. My two little dog's have grown to know what's coming when we pull into Starbucks drive thru.

Dietary restrictions: I forgot to mention the reason behind the blonde sugar free vanilla iced latte being the drink I get. Because I have type 2 diabetes. And I love that Starbucks has taken into consideration that people with things like diabetes love their coffee as well and has made it possible for us to still enjoy it.”

“Had a wonderful dinner after the remarkable Brevard Elementary School Christmas program last Thursday Night at El Ranchero. It was later discovered the following afternoon that My Mother had lost her small turquoise colored change purse with her drivers license, a few credit cards and cash. As we were about to leave, she recalls having it in lap as she was leaving our server a tip. We have called the restaurant and no one turned it in. Just hoping someone would see this to do the right thing. Thursday December 15th between 7:45-8pm. Credit Cards are reported lost/stolen. Don’t be a Grinch this Christmas just do the right thing is all. Thank You!”

“This is similar to the vintage classic drive in fast food and the food is excellent and fits the atmosphere. This is not like a Sonic or McDonald’s, this is food cooked as ordered and has a surprisingly loaded menu of choices considering a lot of these older vintage style restaurants have either given into the assembly line process with no variation or they have cut their menu to complete basics which is understandable but it was a treat to pull in and see all the choices and we ordered a lot of food (two vehicles traveling 4-5 hours and needed something quick to eat but didn’t want run of the mill fast food)Everything we got was absolutely yummy. My favorite was the milkshake! The service was excellent and it was a great opportunity to breath deep and relax, have a few laughs, trade of foods so we all got a taste for everything ordered. If you have a chance to go then take it as these are few and far between!Oh and for the amount of food we ordered the pricing was really a surprisingly low amount as it would have been double to triple the price to eat at any other restaurant in this category without the flair and atmosphere.

Parking: Parking is the available as this is a drive in style restaurant so you park and order from your car or go in and order.

Kid-friendliness: They have the expected pull into a space and order from and eat in your vehicle but they also have a sit down dining room and outside seating. With these choices all different ages and personalities can be accommodated.Also great if you have your furbabies traveling with you! No worries about trying to manage eating while they look sad and forlorn because they get nothingYou can setup you travel water and food bowls or give them a treat.”
