“Lisa and her team are absolutely amazing! They handle long lines and difficult customers with grace and efficiency. They always have a smile and uplifting word for everyone that comes through their line.”
“Nothing special here and it was ok, pretty much the same as all the other Tex-mex places around. Salsa bar also the standard offerings, just wish they had something more spicy.”
“Had lunch and everything was outstanding. Started with the smoked salmon dip that's served with some excellent spiced crackers. The group had the shrimp “scampi”, moules frites, and the burger. All of the meals were excellent. We had the dessert special and I can't remember the name, but it was great as well. We'll definitely be back.”
“We had a fantastic time. The facility was amazing and a lot of fun. Our tour guide Brittany did an amazing job. She was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We will be definitely be back to tour again.”
“Idk why we waited so long to try this place. Best BBQ I've had around here. We had the special which wad a smoked bologna sandwich 10/10. We also had the brisket mac-n-cheese 10/10 and the smoked wings 10/10. Highly recommend if you have an urge for some delicious smoked ”
“We celebrated a wonderful 32nd anniversary and couldn't have picked a better place! The staff were very friendly and willing to assist throughout the meal. The food was excellent and the best we have had in a long time. The setting is beautiful! And we happened to be there on Thursday, where they offer a 20% discount for those who live locally.”
“We had a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday tonight with our favorite wing flavors. Amber was so sweet and helpful! Always asking us if we needed anything. Love coming here!!”
“Loved our servers - Mustafas, Nishant, Sangan. These lovely young men are attentive and pleasant. (It helps that they are so good-looking, too, all you single young ladies out there...)Vegetarian options: Fried cauliflower!!!”
“We were celebrating our 9th Wedding Anniversary. ? We started off with the lobster bisque . For our meal we both ordered the petite filet and stuffed shrimp. It was simply divine ? For desert we had Creme Brulee and Cheese cake. Everything was superb.”
“i really enjoyed this! i was hungry after a long hike and i’d read good reviews about this place. I ordered el cubano sandwich and a water. the sandwich was great, toasted well with good ingredients, and it came with potato chips that i enjoyed putting in the sandwich. The water was nice and cold too. Only suggestion is asking for extra pickles in the sandwich, they need a little more in the ratio. Very pleased! would take anyone here!”
“A very pouring staff that's friendly and knowledgeable. Fun place to walk the gardens and see the brewery on the self tour. Looking forward to the guided tour, too. And did I mention that they have Great Beer!”
“Visited Asheville for a few days and I ate at this location twice. Once to dine in and the other was carry out.The service and engagement from the staff was great! It seemed like a place that gave permission for their staff to be themselves, while focusing on the customers experience. We felt comfortable and at home.We got there before a line formed. It seems to come in waves. We were there mid week around 6:30p. Nevertheless, we ordered our food, got seated and the food began to come out as it was ready. The good was very good. I tried the chicken and waffles to play it safe initially. The waffles, eaten immediately while hot was the best way to go for me. Very tasty. The chicken was also pretty good and flavorful. Well seasoned. Not just that seasoning on the outside but not on the inside foolery. I could’ve done with a little less breading but still good. I went with the chicken fingers type pieces to last on top the waffles. The sides. Maaaaaaaaan!!!!Loved the sweet potato, corn casserole and Mac & cheese. Loved em! Ordered them twice.Enjoy the spot! It’s worth the visit. .”
“The best crab cake we've ever had by far. Crab cake is a little misleading in that it is mostly just crab! And high quality at that! Cornbread was pretty good and the club sandwich was delicious. Pretty pricey lunch but worth every penny.”
“My go-to is the ice cream sandwiches! The balance of the cookies and the ice cream is perfect and you can take it to go as well without mess! I love the mission and I love the ice cream! Everyone is so nice and welcoming here. I will always be a customer!”
“The food was incredible! It's got to be the best pizza we have ever tried! the pizza dough was incredible, the balsamic drizzle on my Margaritaville pizza was so delicious, my husband loved his Head Honcho pizza and my toddler devoured his whole chicken Arepa! The atmosphere was wonderful, too--Sherry and her daughter were lovely!Kid-friendliness: Chicken Arepa was a hit with my boy!”
“I thought website prices were too good to be true... they are! Website has inaccurate prices. The "Order Online" 3rd-party website has accurate prices but Hot Dog World couldn't be bothered to update their own website. Then, they charge 59¢ credit card fee, so the "$7.49" combo I came here for ended up costing me $9.55. 5-star ambiance (not fancy, but old skool charming). But enclosed patio smelled like urinal mint. I wanted to get an ice cream cone but did not want to add 30% credit card penalty. Overall, I still loved the place. Wanted to give 5 stars. Just couldn't.”
“This was our first time here. The ciders were delicious and the food was great too. They had entertainment that evening which was an added perk. We're not from the area, but I hope to be able to come back.”
“My visit to Sierra Nevada in Asheville was an absolute delight from start to finish. The 45-minute tour we embarked on was nothing short of captivating, allowing us to explore the brewery's inner workings and granting us access to behind-the-scenes areas.Upon arrival, the first thing that struck us was the sheer beauty of the building and its surroundings. The architecture was stunning, and the grounds were immaculately kept, creating a picturesque setting for our visit. The customer service was exceptional, with the staff displaying a genuine warmth and enthusiasm that added to the already positive vibes of the place. It was evident that they were passionate about what they do, and their enthusiasm was infectious. We were pleased to find that there was ample parking available, and even better, it was free—a rare find these days. The selection of beers was impressive, with a wide variety to choose from.Even without taking the tour, one could wander through the corridors, soaking in the history and accessing several rooms of the factory. However, the paid tour took our experience to another level, providing us with a comprehensive understanding of the brewery's history and operations. At the conclusion of the tour, we were treated to a tasting of four beers, which was both informative and enjoyable. It was fascinating to learn about the unique qualities of each beer and the thought process behind their creation. For beer connoisseurs, Sierra Nevada is a must-visit. The facility and property are stunning, both in terms of their beauty and design. Every aspect of the experience, from the tour to the tasting, was expertly crafted to provide visitors with an unforgettable experience. In conclusion, our trip to Sierra Nevada was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of excellent customer service, beautiful surroundings, and top-notch beer made for a truly memorable visit. We can't wait to return!”
“Enjoyed a pot of The Hobbit with a few lumps of brown sugar. The quiche was delicious and filling and the side of seasonal fruit was perfect in terms of color, ripeness, and taste. The white chocolate and blueberry crumble cheesecake is great way to round off the meal. It sweet, light and if you’re not full with your meal; this will fill you up.The ambiance is fantastical and whimsy. A create place to shoot adorable tea outfits and photos.”
“This was the best fried chicken I've ever had! The owner was so kind and the service was great! Hushpuppies, fried okra and Mac and cheese were also amazing! I would give this place 10 stars if I could!!!”
“McFarlan's Bake Shop is absolutely incredible! Their creations are simply delicious in every way. The level of service they provide is exceptional. They truly went above and beyond to exceed my expectations for custom orders, including my son's first birthday cake and bachelorette party cupcakes. I highly recommend McFarlan's Bake Shop for anyone looking for top-notch baked goods and exceptional service!”
“Our ladies' group of 12 had lunch there today.Had a wide variety of food items, and every single person loved their food. The soup of the month is sauerkraut, which sounds strange, but it was terrific. One person ordered the sampler platter, and it was wonderful, with enough left over for at least one meal.Desserts were also great, with the winner being the black forest cake. The waitress was excellent and handled a large group with ease. And most of the group stopped at the little deli shop in the front and came away with more goodies for home.Highly recommend!”
“My husband and I went to this place, and the food was superb. That was the best hotdog I have ever had in years. My husband ordered a hamburger, and he really enjoyed it. The sweet tea was so good. And the people was very friendly. We felt so welcome, and when we go back to Arden, NC, we will definitely stop by to get some good food. It's really hard finding a good hotdog”
“Nice local spot. Server was an older woman who was very sweet and has probably been doing this a long time. Great recommendations and very attentive. Food was wonderful, classic small diner grub!”
“Food is excellent, staff very friendly and attentive. I was surprised to see Popcorn as a statue and in pictures as I didn't realize I was 'in the neighborhood'.”
“This was absolutely amazing! We are visiting from Florida and we just happened to come across this beautiful place! Everywhere else we’ve been we’re all closed, and it was fate running into this place! The staff were very friendly and it is such a quaint little ice cream shop. If we stop by this part of North Carolina again, we are sure to come back to this place!”
“This is such a cozy coffeehouse and all of the syrups are homemade and delicious. I ordered a hand pie as well and it did not disappoint. I will definitely be back to try some of the other flavors.”
“Ordered lunch today as it was recommend by a co worker for their sandwiches. Was thrilled they had a Reuben as they are hard to find lately. I asked about the soups but neither really took my interest so I just ordered the sandwich and chip. When I got there the owner had put in a cup of soup for me on the house. Super nice of him. Although I'm not a huge fan of chicken noodle soup I will say it was delicious and the sandwich was perfect. Will definitely be back! The food was only surpassed by the service”
“We have a new favorite restaurant ya'll, seriously. This is our second time, the first time was takeout. We loved the fried pickles, they are spears and full of flavor. The breading is great and doesn't take away the taste of the pickle. This trip we tried the fries, the are crispy and have a great seasoning. Each time we got the tenders basket, great crunchy breading and the chicken is done perfectly, not dried out at all. But the sauces, Lord, the sauces. THEY LET YOU SAMPLE WHATEVER YOU WANT!!! It's a sauce flight!! Boom! All of them are incredibly flavorful and truly epic. So far we have tried Poppin Cherry, Stimulation, Pattaya, Mediterranean (chunks of olives and feta), and Chili infused Java (yes, you can take the coffee). They have a parking lot which makes it easy. You order at the counter and they bring the food to the table. The staff is really friendly. They have 3 dining areas, one of which is outside but covered (can't wait to bring our cat during warmer weather). There are video and claw game machines in another section.”
