“Yes, Debbie is still the owner and they moved to Upward Rd (just a block or two from I26, next to Subway) when the owner of the building in their old location sold it (they just rented the building). Send they dodged a bullet when he did that - the building flooded when Helene hit us hard last year. Anyway, the food is as great as it always was, and the service is always offered with a smile! My personal favorite are the biscuits & gravy...”

“We’re local and honestly do not go out much. Service has declined and it hasnt been worth it. Our last few experiences at our Flat Rock Waffle House have left much to be desired. Once a regular stop, we have avoided the location on Upward Road. Tonight a random craving for a chicken sandwich and hashbrowns hit me. My husband and I decided to drop in. Im so happy we did. This was the most enjoyable dining experience we have had in a while. Our server Tasha was absolutely amazing. She was welcoming, attentive and made it look easy. She is an asset to this location. And our cook, Dakota, top tier. Food was awesome. Hashbrowns were perfect. Thank you guys! We will see u soon!!!!!”

“Overall, Zaxby’s as a chain has kind of been on a long, slow journey downhill over the years. But the Zaxby’s on Upward Road beside Waffle House in Hendersonville? They must be operating under a completely different set of rules.

The wings were actually crispy. The sauce actually made it onto the wings. The toast was, believe it or not, toasted. The fries were cooked all the way through and didn’t taste like they were introduced to the fryer in passing.

On top of that, the staff was friendly, fast, and seemed like they genuinely cared. It honestly felt like stepping into an old-school Zaxby’s from back when every visit was a good one.

Whatever was happening in that kitchen tonight, keep it up. Great job to the team—you restored my faith in Zaxby’s for at least another week! 🍗👏”

“We went to Ruby de Noche for the 1st time last evening and found the food, drinks and service delightful.

Edit: We have returned to Ruby de Noche a few times and have enjoyed our experience on each occasion. The food is delightful and creative and the cocktail menu offers unusual and fun beverages. The atmosphere is quirky and colorful adding a great ambience for date nights. Wonderful service and nice owner. Highly recommend!”

“The baristas at this Ingles Starbucks are funny and helpful. My table was wooblie and they tried to fix it but couldn’t so they changed the table for me so I didn’t feel like I was having coffee on a cruise in rough seas. Thanks Alexis and Megan and everyone else for the best coffee ☕️”
