“Me and a friend went here to meet up. It was my first time visiting, and it was a little packed, but the service was fast and faultless. The workers were very nice and made sure everything was taken care of. The food was delicious. I ordered a gluten-free pizza, and it was perfect. I even ate it for lunch the next day, and it still tasted just as good as it was fresh! This place is perfect for a quick lunch or dessert i would recommend! ?“
“This was the very first time I've been here and my fiance and I love Thai food and thought we would try it. We were very surprised at the selection as well as the portion and the tastiness of the food. We will definitely be back when we are back in town. Overall it was my favorite place to eat while we were visiting!Vegetarian options: I am pescatarian and it was one of the best Tom Ka soups I've ever had. I added shrimp in but it was very good and my fiance loves spicy food and he thought the spice was awesome!“
“Excellent food and they were great with food allergies! The kitchen manager came out and double checked everything and answered all our questions. We felt safe and well taken care of.Dietary restrictions: Knew all their ingredients and food prep and were able to accommodate multiple allergies including dairy.“
“I have been to many fine drinking establishments in my life but the Blue Door is my all time favorite. It has over 500 beers to choose from under perfect refrigeration. In addition there are 20 rotating taps of excellent curated beers from the best local and regional craft breweries. If that sounds like too many choices, just ask the owners John or AJ to help you. Tell them what you like and they will find a perfect match for you. They have been amazing in helping me try new beers but matching it to what I enjoy. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and has a feeling of comfort to it that invites you to relax. I highly recommend the Blue Door.“
“My husband and I had a very nice time at Appalachian Ridge. We arrived shortly after they opened and since it was a weekday we ended up being the only ones here. It was so beautiful and peaceful out on the patio. They have tons of pretty areas on different levels outside as well as a gorgeous inside bar area. All of the ciders tasted good and the service was good as well. Each time we are in the area we will make this one of our stops.“
“Wow - this was the best scooped frozen custard I've ever had. I am a big purist when it comes to ice cream and other frozen desserts. I don't order blended, topped, mixed stuff. I want only the dessert in its purest form. And this place is excellent for that. It was super refreshing after an afternoon of hiking. We got fast service and very generous servings. I could only eat about 2/3 of the double scoop. My husband had about 3/4 of a medium Whit-zer (? Sorry if I'm spelling that wrong!).“
“On vacation from Michigan, we needed a late lunch after hiking to multiple falls in the mountains. What a find! It was warm and breezy outside; perfect for their bright picnic tables on the patio. The menu has astonishing variety and is all fresh ingredients, made onsite. We each ordered 2 and had the option of flour or corn tortillas. We tried gyro, fish (grilled), steak and carnitas. Each has perfect seasoning and flavor.Unlimited chip basket came with a salsa trio. Again, each flavor was unique and delicious. And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If we get back to the area, this place has earned a repeat visit.Kid-friendliness: Indoor and outdoor seating.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance and patio area“
“The best shrimp quesadilla you can get in 50 miles with sine of their Awesome red hot sauce and AI for extra limes and you have a perfect lunch. Another seriously good hidden gem. The steak isn’t my favorite.. tends to be a little tougher than necessary the times I’ve tried it. They have Mexican Coke in the bottle which is a big yes. Don’t go there for their ambiance. Go there for a quick to go order, they accept order aheads. But seriously, the pastor tacos with extra lime and their red hot sauce is very crave-able and especially the shrimp quesadilla.. just to be clear.. on the shrimp…. Quesadilla….. Yep.“
“A laid back family run winery. Very warm and welcoming vibes. There was live music when we arrived, that was a nice touch. The wine was tasty. I got a glass & my husband got a flight. He is usually a sweet wine drinker, but still liked 3/4 of his tasting despite them being on the drier side. I do think the bottle prices were a little bit on the high side. However, being a family owned business, I understand the time and hard work that went into each bottle & can respect their value. We do not live locally, but will stop by again the next time we’re in town.“
“Stopped out of curiosity- wasn't terribly hungry. I was greeted with a smile and told that 2 tacos would be perfect for my hunger level. Don't know what got into me- I generally don't order fish from a food truck unless I'm familiar with it- but I had a hankering for it so got the fish tacos. I was so pleasantly surprised. And for $6, you cannot go wrong. The location is kind off the beaten path, and there were still cars in and out mid-afternoon. So obviously this place is a known little treasure.Clean.You can call orders ahead at 828-458-3370 (I should've took a pic of the menu. Next time, because I will definitely go back).“
“Update April, 2024: always came here for the burgers but appears as if co-owning with Victory has eliminated the GF buns! It's our last time here..sad as we really loved the many cider choices. :-(They've really done a good job of social distancing & enforcing masks when away from your immediate seating area. Good food too! They offer a GF bun & the bbq is too. Best burger I've had in a very long time! The Pineapple Freeze will knock your socks off...esp on a hot afternoon!“
“We visited this brewery during our week long trip to Pisgah with our two German shorthair pointers. Our hike was rained out, though we attempted it anyway. After aborting the hike due to weather, we decided to look for a place to get a mid-day beer. We looked at a couple breweries, even drove to Sierra Nevada Brewery. SN was disappointing since their outdoor area was not covered nor open for service apparently. We then went to Burning Blush to check it out. This was also one of few places open at noon (and it was a weekday). Lucky for us, they allow pups inside, which was a plus given the weather. The place was quiet but as I said, was a weekday with terrible weather. The beers were great, the food truck was amazing, and the staff were very kind. They gave our pups a few biscuits (which they loved). My dogs are my kids, so I'm happy to have found this place! Def recommend if traveling with furry friends! We would 100% go back when we are in the area again. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS TO OUR POINTERS!“
“My husband and I stopped here, our last full day before we head back home to michigan, and I have to say this place was amazing! The atmosphere was 10/10, the service was 10/10 and the beer as well, 10/10. I asked the girl at the counter who was on the shorter side with brown hair (I didn't catch her name but she was awesome) what beer I should try because I was having a hard time deciding and then she suggested a few to sample so I did. I really liked them all! I also bought a four pack and she said she'd leave it in the fridge for when I'm ready to leave and when I went up there to grab it I hadn't even said anything yet and she was grabbing the pack and putting it in a bag for me. I wish I lived closer!!“
“This is a great gem in the 7th Street District! They have a really good variety of beers (not all IPAs like a lot of breweries), including some great dark ones (try the schwarzbier or the porter). The owners are very nice and knowledgeable about their craft and Hendersonville. Good outdoor space and some TVs inside in case you have to catch a game. Might be my new favorite brewery in town!“
“Dry Falls Brewing has an amazing vibe with an excellent variety of tasty beers. Jeff the owner sets the bar for fantastic customer service and knowledge of craft beer. Not only did he and his team do a great job of taking care of us, he also hooked us up with dinner reservations for 8 at a great restaurant, the Flat Rock Wood Room, on a Saturday night.“
“Its been my go to place when I visit Asheville. I aways order the veggie Pizza they have. They let me customize my pizza and always make it to perfection. I have been coming here for over 4 years now and the staff is really good. They recently moved to a new location and have awesome interior and a nice dining area. Can't wait to visit again.“
“My absolute favorite winery in the AVL area. They always have fun live music, great food trucks and an amazing selection of wine. They have something for everyone. Staff are super friendly, long term employees who I've gotten to interact with for many years.“
“fantastic. my fiancée and I both loved our snow cones and our dogs were so delighted with their cute pup cups! this is a snow cone place that has actually good flavors and fluffy “snow,” not just ice chips. highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.“
“Charming place, super friendly owner and staff and very yummy drinks . Went on the Wed songwriters in the round night. Good songs and talented local musicians in an intimate setting, telling stories about their songs, harmonizing together. Really enjoyed it and I highly recommend.“
“We’re become frequent visitors over the past few years. Everything is impeccable from chicken to doughnut. The service is so fast and friendly. We’ve only had to go back up to the counter after ordering on one occasion and they were so quick to reconcile and even gave us a box of doughnuts to take home!! We love “
“Another great night at the Purple Onion. The staff is terrific - they work together and serve with the right pace and attention. Last night we enjoyed salads and a pizza and not disappointed. The trout dip we started with was very flavorful and served hot. Crème brûlée to end the evening was perfect. The Onion offers a great reservation setup for live music. Thanks again!“
“Great little bar in downtown Saluda to grab a drink. They had a good selection of local craft beer on tap, as well as a fridge full of cans and bottles. The bartender was on the ball and very sweet. She knew all the locals by name and was able to recommend beers to the new people that came in based on their taste. Was obvious that she knew the menu very well. I was impressed, a very friendly spot. I can see why so many locals like coming here. You can sit at the bar or they have a good size area outside with seating.“
“A great recommendation from a new friend. GORGEOUS views and spectacular atmosphere. Ok wines... Asheville is heavy on beers and breweries, obviously. But if you don't mind going a little out of your way, there are some great wineries hidden in them thar hills! After making friends with fellow trivia-ers who were local to the area, they suggested Stone Ashe to us for a visit the next day. The weather was spectacular, so a hilltop wine-sippin' trip was definitely in the cards. Just outside of the Asheville area, with plenty of parking, great service and unbelievable scenery! I am so glad we made the trip! Though I will say, I did not like any of the wines which I why I am withholding a fifth star. Taste is subjective, but I usually find something I would want a full glass of or a bottle to take home...not so much here. And it was not inexpensive. But overall, the visit here was more than the sum of its parts. They also offer food, but we had done brunch before we cam here so we didn't need to take advantage of that. I would be open to a return visit (assuming different wines had been made/released) especially with a group for a meal or a flight.“
“My wife and I looked into several cake bakeries, but in the end, we chose Mara. Simply put, she was awesome, everything about the cake was awesome, and the value that you get is undeniable. She even argued with our venue to move the cake table to ensure the safely of our cake. Don't let her busy restaurant scare you. When it's "your" day, nothing else matters to her.“
“First time visit and WOW! What a great first impression. Nice open bar with plenty of taps to choose from. Excellent beer and well crafted. There is also a liquor bar for your favorite cocktail.Food trucks are a staple and offer a nice variety of fare. The outdoor space is unbelievable. Plenty of seating and picnic tables. Cornhole is also abundant.Great live music on the weekends. All around a really nice place that’s family and dog friendly.“
“We were out for a drive on a Saturday afternoon and decided to grab a bite to eat that was dog friendly so our dog wouldn't have to stay in the car. This place was very friendly and accommodating and the food was good as well so it was a win for us. Our server (Sam) was extremely nice. She was a joy to take with. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Hendersonville for a drink and a bite.“
“This is where the locals go and you should too! They bring in high quality entertainment, the service is solid, and the atmosphere is great for sipping.Parking: Carpool with your crew because parking is limited and the spots out front are slim.“
“2nd time we have tried and STILL fantastic!! I MUST give the owners and staff and extra merit for working Easter Sunday(2024)!! We had some things arise and couldn't make it home to our families last minute.??❤️??Both experiences we ordered the same because it was sooooo good!!* Fig-Et About it Pizza* Boneless BBQ wings* Arugula salad* Chicken Parm SubThe staff was very nice and friendly! We got it to go but the patrons inside seemed to be enjoying themselves as well! The prices are very affordable.I highly recommend this place! They also have a nice front outdoor patio.“
“Give yourself time! We love this place. Beautiful setting and while it may take a minute to get food, sit back and enjoy the views, games and shop. If wine isn’t your taste they make a wonderful Malibu cran! This is hands down one of the best vineyards in the area“
“We left our previously loyal vineyard to visit this one and we are so glad we did. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with smiles. Our tasting was fantastic, (guy with bun) couldn’t have delivered better service. The wine was fantastic from white to red. We left with two bottles. The outdoor atmosphere was beautiful with a great fireplace. We are loyal customer of Marked Tree in the future.“
