“Brown butter bourbon truffle ice cream and coffee for my girlfriend and a banana split for me. The ice cream was smooth and the tasty, n ano will perfectly ripe but not overripe and they were plenty of goodies, nuts, pineapple and strawberries and top with the whipped cream and a cherry. All on the list of the things that we're not supposed to eat and it was most excellent.“

“What a pretty vineyard! I really enjoyed the Methode Chimpanzee and the bourbon barrel hard cider. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. I loved looking out over the vineyard and the llama pens. I'm looking forward to returning!“

“Stopped in to get an ice cream after a hike to Pearson Falls and Glen. Great little sandwich shop and ice creamery. Lots of flavors to choose from and they make their waffle cones in house. The staff was very friendly and offered free tastes to help in the decision process. We will definitely be back when we are in Tryon, NC.“

“We were pleasantly surprised that this place was so delicious!!! The sweet potato fries are honestly the best I have ever had (and I get them almost every time they are on a menu). The kids chicken tenders were perfectly cooked. My turkey rueben was delicious. The regular fries were also really well-seasoned. The staff was all very friendly. Really impressed with this place and will be back next time we are in town.“

“My husband and I had a great dining experience. We asked to sit at the bar since the wait time was about 30 minutes. The bartender, Lance, was fabulous. He recommended a couple of drinks according to my taste and they were spot on. Lance served our food in a timely manner and it was hot and delicious. Highly recommend!!“

“Learned about this place in Blue Ridge Motorcycling magazine and stopped in today 12/20/2023 after visiting Chimney Rock SP. Glad I saw the article and stopped in cuz this place is awesome! I had the special which was a Blackened Shrimp PoBoy, my wife had the Pulled Pork Sandwich and my son had the Pork Nachos. It was all delicious! And don't forget the cole slaw on the side because it's the best cole slaw I've ever had. I'm not really a cole slaw guy, but I ate mine and scavenged the table to finish off everyone else's! The Nachos were piled high with pork and cheese. Their pork has a deliciously smoky flavor. Add in a basket of oven braised brussels sprouts....you won't be sorry you did! I washed it all down with a Devils' Head Red Ale which was excellent. And it was all served by great folks that made sure our visit was enjoyable. Oh, and they have several levels of deck so you can have a seat overlooking the river, or sit so close to it that there are signs about swimming! “We looked for little coffee shops to stop for a quick bite on our way to Pigeon Forge from Florence SC and went out of our way to stop here. Totally worth it! The service was amazing. “TEN STARS! I cannot recommend this fantastic little slice of heaven enough! We elected the elevated wine tasting and toured the vineyard with Sophia, and her family's super sweet Great Dane, Max! Sophia was phenomenal, not only knowledgeable about wine, but a huge joy to walk the grounds with. Her whole family was very personable taking their time to interact with us! The wine was absolutely delicious and the experience truly was amazing. We definitely overstayed our welcome, but we cannot wait to go back!!“

Surprised to find that you can get an old fashioned saloon style picture taken there along with a cup of espresso. Lots of choices of coffee drinks. “I've dined here twice in the last 6 months. Both times I had a dog, so I sat outside on the patio- and it is so nice. Beautiful views while you eat and enjoy your wine! Twice I've had the smash burger, and it is SO GOOD. Ordered the brussel sprouts on both visits as well, they are perfection. A lot of places toss them in a sweet and spicy Thai sauce- but not here- they use a different dressing and it's delicious! Today I did a wine flight, and that includes four 2 oz pours. I tried the Gruner Veltliner , The reserve Chardonnay the white blend with the GV/Chard/Riesling, and the Rose. They were all nice and refreshing. On my first visit I ordered a burger patty for my best girl, (It was her birthday, and we'd hiked 9+ miles!) and today the pups split a grilled chicken breast. They are super dog friendly, and bring out water for the dogs. We had the beignets for dessert today, they were delicious. If you are hiking around Chimney Rock, Bat Cave, Lake Lure, then I highly recommend planning your lunch or dinner here!“

“Fantastic wood fired pizza. Great atmosphere- the food was fresh and exceeded expectations- we had the margarita pizza and added sausage. Thin, crispy and soo good. Quaint and causal atmosphere year sophisticated cuisine. The shrimp and grits looked amazing- enough for two people!
