“We love Maples on Main! Everything we’ve tried has been freshly made and DELICIOUS! The staff and owners are super friendly and welcoming! We had the Nitty Gritty bowls for breakfast this morning. YUM! I’m super picky when it comes to pastries but their cinnamon roll was an easy 10/10 and fresh out of the oven. We highly recommend going to Maples on Main for amazing food and a friendly atmosphere!“

“Driving through town and saw this place and decided to stop, and it was completely worth it! Food was great and the guy who runs the place is really cool! We got the nachos, burger, and hot honey chicken sandwich and they were all great! They are a scratch kitchen so everything was made fresh for us!“

“We ordered the Airbus Pizza, and it was excellent. The place was rather busy, but they still got us in quickly, and we were both surprised at how fast our food arrived. The toppings were generous, and the crust & sauce were just right. We went next door after dinner to FlyGirl Brewing and enjoyed some live music and had a couple of dances. Made for a great evening. We will definitely be back for more!“

“One of my favorite places for subs and they have great soup (Seasonally). They have great service , who are kind and helpful. Nice areas to eat in or outside and great for a lunch meeting or out with friends. They also have music, bingo, or other happenings at night.“

“TEN STARS! I cannot recommend this fantastic little slice of heaven enough! We elected the elevated wine tasting and toured the vineyard with Sophia, and her family's super sweet Great Dane, Max! Sophia was phenomenal, not only knowledgeable about wine, but a huge joy to walk the grounds with. Her whole family was very personable taking their time to interact with us! The wine was absolutely delicious and the experience truly was amazing. We definitely overstayed our welcome, but we cannot wait to go back!!“

“Barley's is a neat little bar downtown Spindale North Carolina. They have an array of food and draughts available.I got the meatball sub, which was decent. I wouldn't say the food was magical, but totally okay. It was strange that french fries did not seem to be an option considering they have burgers and all. I got the side salad and it was good! I would say shareable assuming both people didn't want a whole lot of salad.A number of beers on tap make it a good little spot. So go ahead and enjoy.“

“I have loved every flavor I have tried so far. My fiance always gets the same one bc he just loves that one & doesn't wanna try any other flavors.. They are a little pricey, but kinda worth it.. I highly recommend the butterfly kiss (or kisses?), it has birthday cake & cotton candy flavors.. My 2 favorite flavors..“

“Love this place! The Caesar salad is amazing. Sit at the bar so that you meet Lacey. She is truly one of the best bartenders I have ever met. Makes great drinks, and weather you’re having a good day or a bad day, she’ll make it better. Nikki, the manager is also awesome. The whole staff here is so nice.“

“Went to the Twisted Pear last night for the first time. Despite the AC being out we had a really great time. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make us all feel comfortable. The live music was fantastic and they had a huge selection of lovely wine and beer. If they do the music bingo and trivia night, we will definitely be making this our go-to spot in Forest City.“

“Hometown sort of dining experience featuring homemade chicken entrées and more, with great vegetable sides, bar with beer on tap, kids' menu, highchairs...etc. Dated interior and furnishings but that just adds all the more to its charm and relaxed atmosphere. Great country comfort food and similar sort of appeal!“
