“Passing by Marion today and decided to stop by this place. The person who who served us was super polite and nice to us. She gave us good recommendations on ice cream and I tried one I had not tried before. If I pass through Marion again I will be sure to stop by again! Delicious ice cream.“

“We love this place. The food is excellent and fairly priced. We enjoy the quiche and soups. They smoke their own meats. The sandwiches are tasty. Save room for the big selection of cakes and pies. Service is warm and friendly. There can be a wait during tourist season, but it’s nice hanging out front while you wait. The small store connected to it has a nice selection of snacks, beer and wine, souvenirs and local crafts. Highly recommend.“

“My husband and I were passing through on our way to SC and decided to stop here solely based on Yelp reviews. We were NOT disappointed. They have a good selection of craft beer and had a few ciders on draft from which to choose. There was also live music that we enjoyed. There is a decent food selection. We chose a few appetizers and shared a chicken pesto sandwich. This place was so much FUN! The local band played everything from country, rock, pop, Americana, and the Blues. They were super fun, versatile, and took requests for songs. They were very interactive with the crowd and got us out on the dance floor.I'd like to mention that the owner was very genuine, friendly and personable. He came around checking on folks at tables to thank us for coming out and seeing if we needed anything. Overall it was very nice experience. “What an amazing experience! Mary was warm and welcoming, she immediately made my husband and I feel right at home. The wines were delicious, what a hidden gem tucked away in McDowell County. If you are a fan of delicious, Bordeaux style dry wines, this is the spot for you! Beautiful scenery, delicious wines, and a welcoming atmosphere. We are already looking forward to visiting again!“
