Y’all, this place has the best prime rib in town. It’s a fair price with a good portion. Cooked and seasoned to perfect perfection. The little Switzerland Cafe has found their niche. The service has gotten so much better. I also love that they support our local musicians and artist. It’s just a great place to be. Give it a try if you haven’t.
Oh don’t forget the tomato basil soup it is also perfection. You all can thank me later :)
DO NOT GO HERE
Stopped for lunch today after gem mining with friends and kids. Our server, Kassie, was extremely slow and lacked skill. Allow me to explain.
We were a party of 6. Our drinks sat empty for a decent time. We were provided 1 set of silverware for 6 people and 4 napkins. Great lunch stop if you’re coming through town, but trust me, go upstairs! Beautifully remodeled bar, one of my favorite places in NC! Great atmosphere, very welcoming staff and regulars, fun local folks and tourists always coming through.
