“We stopped at Eddie's close to closing and they cheerfully welcomed us in. The service was fantastic and the food was even better! The family that owns and operates Eddie's introduced themselves and were very down-to-earth and pleasant to talk to. The warm bread was amazing, each pasta dish we tried was excellent, and our salads were crisp and fresh. This place just went to the top of my list for favorite Italian places. I can't wait to try more of the menu!”

“One of the best burgers you will eat! We regularly travel from Bakersville just to come there to eat. They give you a large portion of french fries as well. The only pet peve is they are VERY stingy with the ketchup, i got 1 pack with my meal and i asked for some extra,,,, they gave 2 extra packets, thats about 6 packets short for the amount of fries you get, i understand that some people are wasteful but I guess I'm going to have to bring my own bottle with me. Overall a great place to eat and will continue making the trip when I'm craving a great burger.”

“Seated and served quickly. I was in at about 8:00. A.m.. Pearl was exceptional server, running the dining room and the cash register. These small family-owned restaurants are the ones that I crave and look for. I can now add sell this place to my list of fun places to eat.”

“First time visit on Saturday. Deciding factor was to see my ole boss Bob Frisbee and here the music. I am not much on Coffee, but my friend John Owen is. However, I could get addicted to the frozen coffee drink I had x 2. And John enjoyed the chocolate flavored coffee. We will be back for the coffee and more of the entertainment. Nice surroundings. Friendly staff. Definitely a plus for the city of Marion!”

“I love all Waffle Houses across the USA. They are all the same. Good food and great hard working people. The workers work awful swifts and do not make much money. I have seen people not tip good at the Waffle Houses. I don’t no why?? So when you do go. One of my favorite is the omelette and the hash browns with toast and grape jelly. No matter what state it is always delicious! And please remember to tip good!!!!! Only thing on a side note. Wear a sweater it is so hot back near the stove that the employees have the ac on all the time. So in the back it is hot and in the front it is sometimes cool. Depending on the amount of people there. They are all like this and I’m always cold. So if u are cold natured like me bring a sweater or something. Besides that I love the Waffle House. No fried food. My favorite omelette is not listed below. It is delicious!!!!

Parking: Lots of easy, well lighted parking. You can stop by yourself to get pickup or eat here whatever the time and not feel nervous going to your car.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy ramp. I haven’t been to a Waffle House yet that doesn’t have easy access. In any state.”

“The pizza is very good! I bought a slice and forgotten how good the pizza is from there. I do recommend stopping off the interstate to grab a pizza or a slice. The godfathers is located inside the Loves Truck Stop Store. 4/4/24 Pizza is still Fantastic!!

Parking: Huge parking lot up front for everyday vehicles. The back is parking for the Transfer Trucks to gas up, shop, eat and sleep.”

“I’m never disappointed with Bantham Chef. I’ve lived in Marion for two years and their burgers are amazing. This morning I tried the fried bologna sandwich, first time trying breakfast. It was also incredible. The staff is always friendly and very helpful!”

“This is my FAVORITE Japanese restaurant! I live about 40 minutes away from Marion, but when I am wanting Japanese cuisine this is where I will always choose. The employees are all friendly, the atmosphere is calm and nice to dine in! My husband and I love the freshness and flavor of their food. It’s absolutely delicious!! 10/10 recommend!

“This was a delightful addition to our Orchard visit! The JUMBO hotdogs and chilled apple cider were perfect for a hungry family fresh off the Blue Ridge Parkway. The friendly staff even offered a chopped wiener for the pup . No need to search for food before a day of picking. These folks got you covered!

“Food was great, biscuits could have been a little doner. Service was good with exception of the one taking my order wasn't sure if they had any pies or not and seemed to be off in space somewhere. The atmosphere was great but that's because we were the only ones dining in.

“Love there buffet go almost every time there buffet is open. Love the to ho option. Love to go get a plate to go. No they don't have a waitress it's get off your tail and get it. Which I love”

“My only complaint is that I really wish that the inside were more like a restaurant rather than a fast food joint, but that being said, the food NEVER disappoints! Prices have gone up just a little bit, but still reasonable. If you like homestyle, country cooking, then you will not be disappointed. I always get the salt & pepper catfish, and it is among the best catfish that I've ever had. It is ALWAYS good, very light & clean tasting, and never slimy. My family has had the chicken and they say it's good. The sides are also always good, and cooked the way your grandmas probably used to make them. There was one time when I went and they were out of saltwater catfish, and several of the sides, but that has only happened one time so maybe it was just that day. Anyway, I would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone!!!”

“Glad we took the time to dine here. They give a nice amount of food when you get something like the Fajitas for 2. It was enough to be completely full and have leftovers for another lunch. The bean dip they serve with fresh chips is quite good and a decent salsa bar. The wait staff was hard at work and made sure our drinks stayed full and made sure our food was more than just adequate. Will return again.”
