“Y’all, this place has the best prime rib in town. It’s a fair price with a good portion. Cooked and seasoned to perfect perfection. The little Switzerland Cafe has found their niche. The service has gotten so much better. I also love that they support our local musicians and artist. It’s just a great place to be. Give it a try if you haven’t. Oh don’t forget the tomato basil soup it is also perfection. You all can thank me later :)”

“Countryside is one of our favorite restaurants in Marion! We moved here last winter and every time we visit, the service is quick and the food is hot and fresh. We love that we never have to wait or ask for the check, they leave it every single time on the table so you can check out up front whenever you’re done eating. They always check on us when our food is delivered to make sure we have everything we need and often the servers are mind readers and bring a side of ranch and gravy when they deliver my chicken tenders & ask if I’d like either. I don’t have to ask them and wait for them to bring it to me. Not often do many restaurant do this so it stood out to me! I also love that they leave a pitcher of the beverage you order on the table so that if you’re engaging with friends or family, we can help ourselves to refills and they don’t have to worry about interrupting a party or neglecting them. As a couple who has spent years in hospitality and the service industry, we absolutely appreciate all of the thoughtfulness that goes into their day to day and will always keep coming back for the great food & service!”

“My husband and I loved mead and we did a tasting here. We genuinely enjoyed every mead we tried. Catherine was so welcoming and walked us through the tasting. Each mead was well-done and none of it tasted synthetic or syrupy. It all tasted very natural and thoughtfully crafted. We will be back!”

“I’m probably a little biased, but this is “the best” little diner around!! Great food, great service, sure!! But, what makes it “the best” is the people!! They make you feel like “family” (even if it’s your first time there), everybody knows everybody!! It’s a great place to just slow down relax and enjoy a few minutes of great food and “small town” hospitality!!”

“First time visit on Saturday. Deciding factor was to see my ole boss Bob Frisbee and here the music. I am not much on Coffee, but my friend John Owen is. However, I could get addicted to the frozen coffee drink I had x 2. And John enjoyed the chocolate flavored coffee. We will be back for the coffee and more of the entertainment. Nice surroundings. Friendly staff. Definitely a plus for the city of Marion!”

“We ate here for the first time traveling through the area, and it did not disappoint. We came hungry after hiking nearby Catawba Falls, and left looking forward to the next visit! Excellent creole pasta (added shrimp) and chicken alfredo, both were perfect! Extremely friendly staff and the owners visited the table three times during the visit to check on us. Get there early, the line of dedicated customers was forming quickly when we left (6:30’ish).”

“Nice place for breakfast with some unique, homemade Mexican items that you don’t normally see on the menu. My wife and I stuck to the traditional breakfast foods (pancakes with bacon, omelette and hash browns) and they were delicious! Our waitress was also exceptional - she knew it was our first time there and she spent the time to explain everything. Definitely will be on our regular breakfast stops!”

“I had never eaten at Godfather's Pizza because there is not one in my city. I found out there is one in a town about 20 miles from my home. Yesterday I went directly there after church. I am originally from NYC and a huge pizza snob. I have to tell you that Godfather's Pizza is a contender! Try it! You'll LOVE it.”

“Went to this store passing thru town Thursday night going home. The hook & ladder here is to die for. The way that Monterey Jack cheese is seemingly becoming one with the ham and turkey at the same time just makes me melt inside. And don’t even get me started on the crack you get from that delectable, juicy, perfect pickle spear. The employees are certainly on task as well, I could have sworn I saw one of the employees going as far as using the force to build my entire sandwich!! Less cross contamination when you can learn a skill as useful as the friggin force! I called the kid working behind the counter Darth Vader but he corrected me and told me his name was Jackson, and that he could never give people the boo-boo’s Vader does. Bet that kid could’ve 1 manned the entire clone army on any day of the week. Need to have him come work for corporate before the rebellion comes looking for him. These skills can’t go to waste.”

“This is the only one from Black Mountain to Morganton on my way down to visit. There use to be one literally 3 miles from my house but that hussy Helene took it. Haven't had Zaxby is a long time now. I stopped for my kid who asks all the time for it. I caved and went to the drive thru. Who yall got working in there Speedy Gonzalez? Hot and fresh! A weeeeee bit salty for me but thats my problem not theirs. Did the survey so he could get some more while he visits family for the weekend.”

“One of the best subways Ive actually eaten at in a long while the folks were friendly and on point with the ordering and the clerks on the pilot side some of the friendliest folks around id definitely recommend this place for any driver to stop at they actually seem to care about us and that's hard to find now a days, the parking is pretty limited but I guess it being up in the mountains of NC It can't be helped but the lot was well lit and ultimately peaceful for a good rest, highly recommend just try to get here before 3 pm haha or you may have to find you a bobtail spot”

“There’s this girl that works there that makes the most exquisite, bodacious, outstanding drinks I have ever had! Her name was corry, if you go there request for corry to make your drink. That’s the only way it’s good. Everytime I go into Ingles, corrys smile is contagious. I’ve even learned her hours so i can only get good drinks. Please train all workers to be like corry ♥️♥️.”

“Business is very clean inside and out. The food was fast and hot. The atmosphere was nice. Several families with children eating and enjoying the cool temperature inside the restaurant. Looks like the staff was short-handed but made the most of it. The hiring manager was very task oriented as she was giving an interview and helping run the back. The staff was very courteous. I highly recommend this Arby's 👌”
