“We always enjoy this brewery for their unique brews and a big outdoor space! Conveniently located for outdoor enthusiasts - near Linville gorge, Fonta Flora Trail, Lake James, and there's even a trail that leads from the brewery along Paddy's Creek to Lake James. Danielle was our latest bartender and she was exactly who you'd want to greet you - she was warm and accommodating and also made sure our dogs had a fresh bowl of water. They have a great selection of merch and canned/bottled beer to go! The food truck selection and availability is hit or miss, so don't go there hungry, go there thirsty!”

“Stopped in to get some take out for lunch before visiting one of the local breweries (several patrons were dining in). Staff was friendly and patient while I figured out what to order at the counter. Food was reasonably priced, ready promptly, and I enjoyed eating it. A solid recommend/I would eat here again.”

“It was cold and windy on the day I visited and needed to sit outside on account of having my dogs with me. Consequently, my first visit was a short one. I had one a beer, a traditional stout which I very much enjoyed. UPDATE: I came for trivia night. It was good. I tried a couple of other beers but, the traditional stout was still my favorite.”

“I ordered a salad with chicken salad and my husband had a veggie quesadilla and both were delish! We were staying at a campground nearby and found this little gem for a very nice bite to eat. The immediate area doesn't offer much by way of restaurants so this was a great find. Very friendly staff and a beautiful golf course.”

“What a gem of a place! The store is way bigger than it looks. The back portion of the coffee shop is the roasting area. They offer a very wide variety of roasts and they offer shipping. The store is very cute and relaxing. Plenty of seating area and a couch. The staff makes a great latte! So happy we visited this place.”

“Home town feeling of a restaurant. Great and personal staff and the sandwiches are very flavorful and delicious. Each sandwich comes with one side dish and a dessert. They offer a wide variety of cheesecakes. They are the dense New York style cheesecakes. Very enjoyable place!! The brownies are small (compare to cheesecake) but you really don't need a big piece to be satisfied.”

“A typical Americana diner experience in an old Bank. It was pretty cool and the servers and cook were really nice. The food was mediocre a little above maybe because of the love it put into it but well worth the money spent. Prices were awesome. I would recommend this place and I hope they do very well in the future.”

“This is a great place! I have never had El Salvador food. It was delicious and we will be back for sure! We ordered a steak burrito and a chicken burrito. “I was there today 3-28-24 . I had hamburger and fries. Best hamburger I've had at a restaurant ever. Fries were crispy and hot. Burger was so thick and big I couldn't eat it all. Plenty of fries to have for dinner tonight with the other half of my burger. Will go back for sure. Cost was good also 2 meals for 9 dollars and change. It's worth it.”

“This place is a hidden gem (well not to the locals…)!!! We were passing through and took a shot and we are so glad we did. Everything was amazing…down to the sweet tea and ranch dipping sauce (bbq sauce was very good too according to my husband). I got the bbq and chicken finger plate & my husband got the bbq and popcorn shrimp plate. SO yummy and good size portions. We left very full and wishing we had room for pie or cake. Will be back when close!Also it was cool to see on their wall that Obama had eaten there!”

“Great service. Always a sweet host behind the bar. Full bar and 10 plus taps. Has bagged snacks like pretzels chips etc and sweets from a local bakery. Upstairs has TVs, couches, games, darts, and more. 2 bathrooms. Very close to local restaurants, some will deliver there. MUST STOP. No complaints.”

“Order online for pickup. They are a tiny, secret corner of a Subway in a Loves Truck Stop, but a local favorite. We ordered for pickup at 4:45 and the customers were already lining up. If you order there, expect to wait while they hand make and bake your pizza fresh. It was sooooo good, but I am glad we preordered. At the truck stop portion, they have excellent prepackaged salads, like Walmart deli sells. We ate at our hotel while watching a movie. Great memory.Vegetarian options: Custom made pizza you can select toppings, Subway has vegetarian options, and deli salad at the Loves can fill the need.Parking: Truck stop Loves parking is sufficient.Kid-friendliness: We took our 12, 10, and 8 yr old kids inside. It's a truck stop. Not a playground.”
