“So, I've been eating here periodically for the past 3 years. New changes have made my evening phenomenal! Food was fantastic! Service was a 10! I get the Prime-rib. I ordered a 12oz. Perfectly cooked and delicious! This reminds me of how things once were, but way better! I love the new menu. More sides, desserts, and options for Dinner. You won't be disappointed. “We enjoyed eating at Los Compadres. After we ordered, our food was served very quickly. I ordered a "Burrito Special" & it was muy delicious. My husband ordered his go to favorite, a "Burrito Fajita Tejano." It's HUGE & has everything he likes inside, steak, chicken & shrimp. He only ate half, so the rest went home in a to go box.Our waitress was very sweet & she was attentive too, before anyone could ask her for something, she was already on top of it. At the end of our meals, she asked us if anyone wanted our drinks to go. How nice is that? We didn't even have to ask like we do at some of the other restaurants we've been to.Parking: We usually eat at the Los Compadres in Hildebran & this was our first time eating at the Valdese location. We came in at a little after 8 pm. As we pulled into the restaurant parking lot, we were looking for a parking spot, but there wasn't any on the right side, so we drove around the building & we couldn't find anything open. Everything was full except there were several open spots in the very front but there was a car there that was parked caddy wonkus & it looked like one of the employees was standing there talking to them. Because that car was blocking several of the open spots, we couldn't park there. I have no idea what the person in the car was doing & I'm not saying the employee was doing anything wrong. It's possible that the car was waiting for a take out order or something like that.I'm not sure if any of the spots that were blocked were marked "handicap parking,"but if they had just simply pulled into one of the spots instead of blocking all of them, we could have parked there. We drove back out onto the main road, then pulled back into the restaurant parking lot. There was a car that was leaving, so as they pulled out, we took their parking place.”

“I went with a group for lunch. There was not a crowd. The hamburger and fries were good but not great. The service was great. It has a 50's theme to it. I did not try the ice cream but heard it was worth the trip.”

“To start off this review, upon walking up to the establishment, all you could smell was a smoke pit which gave me huge confidence that these people know what they are doing. You order the food at the register, pay for it, and then they seat you which is cool, I prefer to pay pre meal so I dont need to wait around for a check. Not that it would have been an issue because our waitress was on top of our drinks like a hawk. We ordered the ribs and brisket. The ribs were fall off the bone and full of smoke which was amazing. The brisket was slightly moist which is very impressive for most briskets. I find usually, most bbq place's brisket is very dry, texas was the only place that I ever found a melt in your mouth soaked with fat brisket. This place definetely doesn't beat texas bbq, but, its some of the best I have had other than texas. So all in all this place gets a 5 star from me, would definetely return.”

“I had the brisket and ribs combo with homemade peach cobbler. It was wonderful the ribs and brisket were so tender and had a thick bark flavorful from the smoke. The cobbler was also amazing.”

“We went with a group of 17 people. They had 2 waitresses for our group and they were very attentive. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. My only complaint is that I thought dessert was a little expensive, but drinks were cheaper than some places so that made it okay in the long run. ”

“Here's is the deal I've eaten at a lot a of food trucks, tacos are my favorite food I've tried about 8 different resturants since moving back to lenior a couple months ago. So far this truck hands down has had the best tacos in the area... the pastor tacos had a great flavor not to sweet which has been the running trend everywhere... the asada tacos were also very good and the portions amounts were on point. I have a hard time with the spicy sauces as I grow older and I must say they had the best green Verde sauce (tomatillo based) that I've had in a hot minute I was able to enjoy the flavor with out being overwhelmed by the spice they get 5 stars and 2bthumbs up from this 5aco fiend!!! I will be ordering here again!”

“I've spent quite a bit of time in Mexico over the years and, while I like many of the local Mexican restaurants, I've yet to find one with the authentic flavors I crave. Until today. Mi Molcajete is a real treat and has a broad menu of authentic and flavorful dishes. We were pleasantly surprised and had great service, incredible food and lots of left overs. If you like trying new things and want an authentic food experience go now to this place. ¡Buen provecho!”
