“Hot Shots Espresso is one of those places you get excited about the moment you see where they’re setting up. I love keeping an eye on their page just to find their coffee truck, it’s always worth the stop. They have some of the best chai in town, and their dirty chai is so good, truly one of my favorites. But beyond the coffee, it’s the people that make this place special. They are the sweetest couple, always welcoming, always kind, and genuinely happy to connect. I love chatting with them, and they are so great with my kids, which means everything to me. Great coffee, great vibes, and really beautiful humans behind it. If you see the Hot Shots Espresso truck, do yourself a favor and go get a cup. You won’t regret it. ☕️”

“The office opens at 7 AM. But you can call as early as 6:10 AM. The phone number is on the sign on the fence to the left of the entrance. As soon as you enter, go to the reception office near the entrance, on the right side of the building. They will tell you which door to use, probably number 33, as in the photo. Overnight parking is available before the entrance, on the right and left.”

“I love this place! It's not far from where I live, so I can easily call my order in and not have to drive far to pick it up. I also sometimes eat inside the restaurant with my family. The atmosphere is nice and pleasant, the customer service is great, the food is delicious and the cost is pretty cheap compared to other Japanese restaurants that I've visited. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Early Sunday AM I needed 3 gallons of tea. The workers had arrived at 4 AM to open at 5:00 AM. It was a bit after 7 AM. They were cheerful and so polite. 2 gallons were ready but a 3rd gallon needed to be made. It happens so quickly that I did not feel like I had to wait at all. Thank you for serving our community so well. May God bless each and every one of you as you continue to work hard and bless us with good food, beverages and treats…..all served with kindness!”

“Tucked away in the middle of Morganton, North Carolina, right in the middle of downtown, is Pat’s Snack Bar — a local spot that’s been around for nearly 50 years.
It’s a small, no-frills restaurant with a very simple menu. Cash only, sit-down seating, plus a small bar area. Everything is cooked right there on the flat top in front of you, which adds to the experience. Burgers, fries, chicken sandwiches, and liver mush (definitely an acquired taste — proceed with caution on that one).
Overall, it was a great experience. The staff was super friendly, the food was solid, and it’s the kind of place you’d gladly stop at again. Also they have excellent desserts served in the back of the restaurant. The lady preparing these sweet treats has been at Pat's since 2001.
Just note the limited hours — open Monday through Wednesday from 11 AM to 2 PM — but if you catch it when it’s open, it’s well worth the stop.”
