In the area hiking, and on the way back home, decided to stop at one of the local establishments to join an early dinner and some small town cooking. They have plenty of seating and the menu has lots and lots or choices. The prices are very affordable and the sides were plenty to choice from. We willing drive 45 minutes just to eat at Countryside BBQ! Every single thing you can possibly order is delicious, I promise! Definitely the place to go if you need some bbq in your freezer as well!

This place is a hidden gem (well not to the locals…)!!! We were passing through and took a shot and we are so glad we did. Everything was amazing…down to the sweet tea and ranch dipping sauce (bbq sauce was very good too according to my husband). I got the bbq and chicken finger plate & my husband got the bbq and popcorn shrimp plate. SO yummy and good size portions. We left very full and wishing we had room for pie or cake.
