“Countryside is one of our favorite restaurants in Marion! We moved here last winter and every time we visit, the service is quick and the food is hot and fresh. We love that we never have to wait or ask for the check, they leave it every single time on the table so you can check out up front whenever you’re done eating. They always check on us when our food is delivered to make sure we have everything we need and often the servers are mind readers and bring a side of ranch and gravy when they deliver my chicken tenders & ask if I’d like either. I don’t have to ask them and wait for them to bring it to me. Not often do many restaurant do this so it stood out to me! I also love that they leave a pitcher of the beverage you order on the table so that if you’re engaging with friends or family, we can help ourselves to refills and they don’t have to worry about interrupting a party or neglecting them. As a couple who has spent years in hospitality and the service industry, we absolutely appreciate all of the thoughtfulness that goes into their day to day and will always keep coming back for the great food & service!“

“Y’all, this place has the best prime rib in town. It’s a fair price with a good portion. Cooked and seasoned to perfect perfection. The little Switzerland Cafe has found their niche. The service has gotten so much better. I also love that they support our local musicians and artist. It’s just a great place to be. Give it a try if you haven’t. Oh don’t forget the tomato basil soup it is also perfection. You all can thank me later :)“

“Just a fantastic place. Wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Kyle was hanging up lights during our visit. He really cared a lot about the place. You can see he loves to host events for his customers and wants every experience to be a five start experience. Ashley was kind also she was great at quickly delivering our food and the drinks were great. Bobby in the back making the food maintained a clean appearance and perfectly delivered meals quickly in a brick stone oven for our pizza. 10/10 experience.“

“There is no dining room here only Drive-up & carryout. The picnic tables either. Great $7.99 platter with 2 sides and $1.99 more for a shake or malt. Great cheese curbs just double order them due to only approx 7 curbs in an order. Delicious cherry chocolate malt & a chocolate shake.“
