“Our first time there. Chloe was our waitress, lovely young lady, very pleasant. My wife ordered the half chicken while I ordered half a rack of ribs. My ribs were very meaty and tasty, my wife's chicken was tasty as well. Both meats could have had a more smokey flavor. Our biggest complaint was they didn't have smashed taters or baked taters. The place was clean the atmosphere was great. We will be back. Worth the time.“
“We went a couple of hours before closing. They were out of many items but the waitress was pleasant and funny when she had to come and tell us after we had ordered as she wasn't aware they were out since the kitchen staff never posted it on the board.The food we did get was good except the Mac and cheese was cold and the rib tips were tough The pulled pork was amazingly delicious. The ribs are enormous so be prepared to need a to go box if you are not a big eater. The corn bread was yummy.The bathroom was not very clean but usable which is a concern, at least for me, of how clean the kitchen is.This was not our first time here, bit it was the first time since the buffet has been opened every day of the week. We have been at least 2 other times before the buffet. This time was not as enjoyable as the other times but everyone is human and has a not good day. We will be back to give it another chance to prove this day is not the new normal.“

“The best BBQ restaurant in Lenoir… scratch that…. the best restaurant in Lenoir. This place is freakin nuts. It’s not every day you find the highest quality, biggest portions and best price all in one spot. I’ve tried just about everything, but the BBQ dogs just changed my life. Put that bbq mustard on top and whooooo! I’d eat that off a flip flop. My family makes it a point to eat here at least bi-monthly. Do yourself a solid and go to JDs. Like right now. Go. Now.“
