“This place has become a 'must' every time we visit BM. I was so excited to show our girls the biscuits 'as big as plates' and it was even better than I remembered. Everyone loved their meal. I ordered the Lookout with a side of grits. I literally can't find one thing that needs to be improved with the biscuit meal and the grits were honestly the best I've ever had. I was blown away. Tip: know that there's probably a wait here. We came on Friday morning and while there were a few tables open, they seemed short-staffed and we had to wait in line. But, people are waiting in line because it's totally worth it. I freaking love this place!“
“Couldn't love this place more. Small but mighty menu, great service and a very cool space - what else can I get ya? Had a bourbon/honey/thyme drink (well, two), a half greens salad with cilantro dressing and a Cuban bowl with mustard roasted pork. 11/10 across the board, and served up by a great crew. “This is a cute restaurant with lots of character. My coffee mug said, "Ew...work." you order and pay at the podium and then lots of options for seating. The coffee is very flavorful without being bitter. The burrito was the best one I've ever had. My husband had the traditional and said it was really good. Service waa great. Definitely recommend for a tasty inexpensive breakfast.“
“Been going on and off for years. We love it. We wanted their mushroom soup but they were out. I think I'm one of the last ones to have the recipe on a postcard they used to sell. Delicious. We shared a club sandwich. Very good. Love Black Mountain!!?“
“My wife and I were here a couple weeks ago. I got the cheese steak and my wife got the Mac’s burger… we haven’t quit thinking and talking about the food since… the fires, the burger, the cheesesteak ALL OF IT. “Beer reigns supreme at Black Mountain Brewing, and you're sure to find something tempting when you stop in. If you're not sure, they'll have something to recommend from the plethora they offer. Personally, I've enjoyed their dark and seasonal beers, but they offer so much more to please multiple palates. If you're walking around Black Mountain and need a spot to take a load off, stop in! They've got cozy seating inside and two covered decks outside, complete with heaters for the chilly weather. Most often there's wonderful local acoustic music and singers out there to listen to while you enjoy their delicious beverages. And if you'd like food to accompany, you can bring something from one of the surrounding businesses or try their on site BBQ food truck that's parked out back-a treat if you enjoy BBQ! To top it off, the staff and service is always welcoming, helpful and at the ready for any questions!“

“Love this little brewery! The owner and staff are friendly and terrific people. The beer types are varied enough that everyone should find a favorite. The deck, lot and building provide lots of variety in seating to choose from. Mac's food truck has excellent cheeseburgers and cheesesteaks. Local friends keep the fire-pits burning in winter.“
“Super nice people and quick service during a busy Sunday brunch hour. Served 9 people with the most amazing breakfast sandwiches (I had the egg, bacon and cheese on ciabatta with home made herb aioli), ate outdoors on the patio with a lovely breeze. Yum!“
“We ordered a Smokehouse Poutine and smoked olives. The poutine is curly fries (the best fries than I have ever tasted) and pulled pork, beer cheese sauce. The olives were a surprise for me, an incredible flavor! I recommend it. A great visit if you are around Black Mountain.“

We get takeout more than we dine in and they never mince on takeout orders.During peak times, parking can get crazy, but people just park in the grass along the street on the opposite side of the restaurant.Sit out back when the weather is nice!“
“As a long-time bread and pizza maker at home, I picked this restaurant based on pictures of the pizza crust—beautiful open crumb that looked like it would be crisp and chewy without being dense. I was not disappointed! Excellent pizza. Tuscan salad was the perfect complement. Loved watching the pizza being made, too.“
“This was SO good! Delivered right to our campsite, and our delivery person was super nice! Didn't get the extra ranches we paid for, but not a huge deal. They did follow every request, though! The chocolate chip pizza was DELICIOUS!!! We will most definitely be ordering from here again.“

Kids enjoyed the decor…..hats hanging from all over the place. Overall glad we stopped. We frequent Cherokee and Bryson city from central NC and this will be a common stop for us now!
