Always a good meal with friendly service
Sandwich menu is vast and expertly prepared. The Italian was very good with the right amount of meats and the pesto mayo took the meal over the top. The Southern Ham Melt was flavorful but could have used more pimento cheese for my liking. The Greek Chicken Gyro was very good with the tzatziki bringing everything to the next level. Seating was quick at lunch time and the service was above par. The meals were quickly prepared, very little wait.
Great place for lunch, obviously a favorite with locals and those from away. The place was full but didn’t feel crowded and the service was attentive and quick. Good menu, excellent soups, delicious food.

They also have a good variety of sandwiches and wraps, as well as several soups. The Turkey Brie Melt, Hungarian Mushroom Soup, and Tomato Basil Soup are favorites. Unique gifts with individual flair are also available for purchase. The restaurant is a bustling staple on Cherry Street in downtown Black Mountain, often packed during lunchtime. The back deck is a welcome spot for those with dogs.
