“A really nice place for a drink! It's mostly a wine bar, with some bottled, canned and local draft beer. It has a bit of an industrial meets nature design. Two non-gender restrooms are clean. The employees were all welcoming and friendly. The bottled wine is a bit over-priced vs other retail establishments, but the glasses were reasonably priced. I enjoyed my glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. There is plenty of room to spread out both inside and outside. It's quite a little gem. We would recommend it, and we would return.“
“This place is amazing. We came for a bday dinner w 10 girls...I could see how this place even better with having dinner or drinks outside when it gets warm.. we still managed to take great pictures. I put 4 for service only be cause I and my friends asked how much was a bottle of wine just be cause most of us has been drinking the same rose by the glass and we wanted a bottle. Asked 4 different times and we never got a response. I don't get why such a big secret.. we still got a bottle. FOOD had amazing taste , we all loved it! I'm putting few pictures.“
“We love Wellborn Winery. We been visiting them for years. They just get better and better. I love that it is small comfy place in the woods. So relaxing . And we get to know the owners/ creators of the great wines. They make you feel like family. I just visited yesterday and ask for their Old Vine Zin that I saw on their website. “Service is good every time I come here. Ambiance is decent as well and the restaurant is clean every time. Sushi here though is at best okay...very thin slices of fish and small portioning but it tastes fresh! Unfortunately the Nigiri Sushi entree is way below par (don't let you choose your pieces) and don't state on it that's it's chef choice which is pretty upsetting for a sushi enjoyer! Would still highly recommend this Restaurant.“
“Food was very good. Table shared a number of things. Salads were good, pizza was very good. We had a potato pizza and cheese. Beer selection is very good. Highly suggest them. Only reason the atmosphere got a 4, outside seating is right next to busy and very tight parking lot which means loud cars, gas fumes and the occasional “are they going to hit us?” Moments kind of ruined the Al fresco dining.“
“Wonderful ambience in this Main Street Travelers Rest restaurant. Industrial decor and plenty of seating. Very popular at key hours. The sushi isn't great but it's good enough to enjoy this beautiful restaurant. Great service and a solid drink menu as well. Highly recommend.“
“Love coming here, a local favourite. Their offerings are very bready in nature so we don’t come here all the time, but every once in awhile. They have breakfast stuff, lunch sandwiches, and bakery sweets but also have hours that go past dinner time, which is sometimes really helpful. Their bakery items are OK but I imagine some people would consider them amazing.We love sitting in their outside patio when the weather is nice. It’s a little shoddy and in need of some updates or renovations though. The tables and chairs look secondhand. The patio wood needs painted or replaced. The side of the building is full of electrical work that seems piecemealed together with no thought to aesthetics, especially with it being on the customers’ side. But, it feels cozy, snug, and in the heart of downtown TR. The outdoor atmosphere feels more like a privately owned hole in the wall rather than a rundown establishment. I think they might even do live music on the weekends. And their garden area by the patio is usually really pretty.One thing I would recommend, outside aesthetics aside, is having more side options to the sandwiches. It has expanded over the years but sometimes choosing between fried oily chips or vegetables as a side isn’t at all appealing.Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options which are clearly labeled“
“Beware they add 20 % gratuity and it’s noted but 3.5 % for cc charge card use is added without showing as a line item between the receipt given to check bill then it’s added on the receipt to sign, appears to be rounded to whole dollars also.Unless above was done due to being a party of seven (7) with separate bills for each individual.“
“My husband and I stopped here for breakfast, and we were very glad we did! Grits were creamy, and bacon was perfectly cooked. I'm pretty sure we found our new favorite breakfast spot! I'm looking forward to trying dinner sometime.“
“Told by family we had to try this place and boy did it live up to the hype. Delightful food with a great message behind it, everything we had was top notch. Highly recommend visiting when there is live music, really added to the experience. Service was extremely friendly and fun on top of it all. Lastly their cocktail selection was the cherry on top. A must try!“
