“Great food! I would advise going at a less busy time of day. It seems the busier they are here the more likely something may be off with your order, especially if it's a bigger order for several people. Still very good after many years and the people are usually friendly.“

“We had my sisters graduation party here and everything was outstanding!! Even with it being a busy lunch shift and slightly understaffed, we still received excellent service & wonderful food. The bourbon BBQ wings and flat bread pizza were delicious. Definitely recommend.“

“They have the best hamburger steak (The Rev) that I have ever eaten. Top that with some gravy, mushrooms and grilled onions and it's out of this world! We had been camping at Jones Gap and had our dog with us so they let us sit at the table outside. Everyone was so sweet. One of the ladies brought our dog a water bowl and the cook brought our food out to us. I had collards and mac & cheese for sides and they were wonderful as well. We always visit Northwest Grill when we go camping. I wish we were closer just so we could eat here more often. You locals sure are lucky. Great food, excellent service and nice people!“
“Awesome food. I asked for Meatloaf and the owner placed it on the menu the next week. Great food and customer service. I wish they were open every day for supper.“

“I've only been here twice and the food is simply amazing. It was mediocre busy so I couldn't quite understand why it took so long for them to even come get me a drink. But I understand when things get busy especially in this area. Other than that I love this place and plan on going back every time I'm in the area“

“The restaurant sits directly off the highway not as I thought (tucked in a side road, more country). Having said that, we were there for breakfast 1) the place was spotless, clean! 2) food was good, right out of Grandma's kitchen 3) service was prompt and friendly.“

“I've been twice now. I'm not from Philly but lived across the river in Camden. I've had my share of cheese streaks. To those complaining, the meat should only get a slight dusting of salt and pepper when cooking. You should taste meat. The rolls are authentic. Why? Because they don't soak through the hindge. Love the fries just wish the serving was a little bigger. They do get crowded at the usual times but I think I see them expanding in the future. Keep up the good work and ignore those folks who don't know cheese steak.“

“Stopped by for breakfast today. It was fantastic!“
“Best thing since baked and sliced bread . . . which, by the way, is readily available next door to this brilliantly arranged space. Perfect spot for almost any outdoor gathering. Cheryl and Steve have done a super job of giving it a relaxed vibe and welcoming feel. This is an absolute gem for Travelers Rest.“

“This was truly an incredible experience. Very much an actual chef's table, with Chef Gene giving us so much information, so much of his time, and so much food! We took home multiple to go boxes. Every course was inventive and fun, and I strongly recommend going there open to whatever Chef Gene has in mind, because it is a crazy fun and innovative culinary adventure tour. Our meal ended with a steak (any cut of our choosing?!?) that he deep fried in Wagyu tallow (?!?!) - our minds were blown. Everything was great, but I think my favorite was this amazing mahi mahi on a bed of salsa verde, pureed corn, with a Peruvian tomato-based sauce. All of those flavors came together beautifully, and the fish was perfectly pan-fried. Just as importantly, everybody there seemed to be having fun and actually enjoying their job, which feels way too rare these days. For Greenville/Greer-based folks it is definitely worth the drive. It's good to get away from Main Street and take in the peace and quiet and greenery, and delicious food.“

“The cook she was great, the server she was terrible. The server was not friendly at all, bad attitude when she brought our food on 8/10/22 at 6:45 pm the server never came to refresh our coffee and left the cook all alone with all the tables full. Manager needs to pull security and see this. For 25 minutes we never saw her again. We finished our meal and she still was not back. The cook was having to cook, clean tables. wait on customers, she was doing a great job. TR waffle house hope you look at your security footage.“

“Went in for breakfast this morning and had the best waitress and the food was delicious! She even brought out ice water for our little pup! I would definitely recommend this local, family owned restaurant. It definitely has a small town feel and not overly crowded. We will definitely be back!“
