“I've gone there's since it was Gus's, before Al and Gloria McAfee then Pete and Chris and it was like family and we had good relationships(a few disappointments,but nothing bad.) Those years I spent around $ 10,000 a year there. Bless his heart,Pete got tired 😫 I understand. We used to talk about things. I tried but just couldn't downgrade those years with Jimmy, it was depressing;Pete and I spoke on it before hand...he was right. I quit going unable to endure the smoke palace they made it and food wasn't food. An old friend told me Pete and Chris were back...I went to see old friends after almost 10 years I was so sick of it. It was wonderful to see them a short while and was told their nephew would take it over. I continued to go as things went down quickly, food quality, I'm not fond of killing bugs as I try to not consumed them...logically they were in the food too...I used to go in and waitresses would toss me the rag they wipe tables with to mash a roachbug(btw that Fabuloso cleaner is recalled for the bacteria in it and it causes asthma and heart failure, I can't breathe when they wipe it where you eat,mop with it,it's toxic, Google it)...let that sink in a minute, or sit in a booth and mash ants crawling around. And when you said something, "Yon said,Yeah, I've got a friend coming." I'm a tolerant man and try to be kind to people as every order I place was wrong 🙃 it was cold one day and they had soup...so I ordered 2 bowls of soup and 2 grilled cheese. The soup was cold as the refrigerator so I sent it back(3 times and it was still cold) and my grilled cheese were too. It was vegetable soup ok...like you dump 2 cans in water and try to heat them up unsuccessfully. I drink water no ice or lemonade. Went to pay to find out it was $20.02 ridiculous !!! I was telling them that they don't think much of my $5000 a year and getting lower because the food wasn't! So I took a break and went around 🙃 I'd forgotten how a good meal tastes and enjoyed a few for 3 months, not missing it at all. But like someone said the chili cheeseburger 🍔 is good and I craved one and the BBQ used to be great 👍 I got one of each to go. Saw my friend there that got me to mash roach bugs and she said..."I told them you wouldn't be back." The other lady that talks a lot that I half understand was inquiring, so I told her. Came home and the chili cheeseburger was good...not dry like I ordered,but good. I bit into the bbq...it wasn't really a bite as much as a smush...that had the texture of a handful of toilet paper dipped in dishwater! Just a blob of mush not anything you would want to eat. I wish them well 🙏 I have talked to several locals that brought it up that they won't go back. I burst out laughing when the third person told me that to reply...Let's make a t-shirt! They teach gamers how to make good fries at chain stores that can't dress themselves but Pete's can't do that anymore. if you know me...you know I just spoke the gospel truth...if you only say nice things people could die from this mess...I'm done...Dont forget to bless your food if you eat there. “Our new favorite go to for meat and 3. Prices are very reasonable and their food is really good. Even their chicken fingers are better than other places. Some of our favorites are the meatloaf, cabbage, scallop potatoes, Mac & cheese, fried okra, beef stew over rice, country steak (we love the option of baked or fried) with gravy, and chicken fingers. Service is always friendly and attentive. We love to support local!“

“Got uber eats from nickHenry’s and it was our first time ever trying them out. 1000x I recommend. We got the fried pickles, cheese sticks, burger plate, chicken finger plate and grilled cheese kids. When you order the pickles (it’s a lot of pickles) which my pickle lover self is obsessed!! The food was amazing and still very warm. Thank you guys!! We will be adding you to our weekly takeout!!!“
