“Was worried I wouldn't find one of my favorite meals in Travelers Rest, SC, but I was wrong. I go to Tru Broth at least once a week. The pho is amazing and the folks that work there are super friendly and accomodating. I highly recommend a stop here, especially on a cold or rainy day.“
“Food was very good. Table shared a number of things. Salads were good, pizza was very good. We had a potato pizza and cheese. Beer selection is very good. Highly suggest them. Only reason the atmosphere got a 4, outside seating is right next to busy and very tight parking lot which means loud cars, gas fumes and the occasional “are they going to hit us?” Moments kind of ruined the Al fresco dining.“
“Love coming here, a local favourite. Their offerings are very bready in nature so we don’t come here all the time, but every once in awhile. They have breakfast stuff, lunch sandwiches, and bakery sweets but also have hours that go past dinner time, which is sometimes really helpful. Their bakery items are OK but I imagine some people would consider them amazing. We love sitting in their outside patio when the weather is nice. It’s a little shoddy and in need of some updates or renovations though. The tables and chairs look secondhand. The patio wood needs painted or replaced. The side of the building is full of electrical work that seems piecemealed together with no thought to aesthetics, especially with it being on the customers’ side. But, it feels cozy, snug, and in the heart of downtown TR. The outdoor atmosphere feels more like a privately owned hole in the wall rather than a rundown establishment. I think they might even do live music on the weekends. And their garden area by the patio is usually really pretty. One thing I would recommend, outside aesthetics aside, is having more side options to the sandwiches. It has expanded over the years but sometimes choosing between fried oily chips or vegetables as a side isn’t at all appealing.Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options which are clearly labeled“
“A wonderfully eclectic menu with a VERY reasonable price point! The servings are large and fresh and delish! I can’t rave enough about their grit cakes and fresh ground coffee. Our server Miriam was flawless. Chasity the manager made us feel like family (and that we were important) and it was our first visit! The Devil as they say is in the details…well, it’s the details they excel at. I honestly could find nothing to complain about. Which is rare. I always find something. Great job! I will return!“
“Wonderful first experience! Inside, you'll find warm smiling faces eager to help with any menu questions or recommendations! I chose the Ethiopian Stew and some sweets (coconut blast & belly rubs) with a detox tea to wash it down! Everything was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection! I wish I had found this restaurant sooner! I will definitely be back, and highly recommend to anyone!!“
“I've been here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner to celebrate a birthday. Each time, the staff was amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food is wonderful - lots of options for all tastes and dietary patterns, presented beautifully. The owner even presented a gift to the birthday boy as we were leaving! Such kind people, offering delicious food and drink. What's not to love? If you haven't been, give it a try!“
“I love it here. Great stuff, great quality, BUT there is one issue I have and that’s that if you order a coffee or something like it, you’ll be waiting 15+ minutes on your order. If it’s super busy, you’ll be waiting 30 or so minutes.“
“Guys, what can I say, I just went to this pastry shop in Greenville because I really missed the taste of home, being from Rome myself. 100% promoted, incredibly friendly and professional owners, love for their products noticeable from the first bite. I recommend this place in Greenville to anyone who wants to try and discover the products of our land, Italian tradition and flavors guaranteed! Thanks guys and GO ROMA!!??❤️“
“Our company had an event at this location. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. I follow Doctor Caldwell Esselstyn's diet, so the only thing I ate was one brownie bite. It was very good! Others at meatballs, crab dip, lamb, and other meat and vegetable dishes. Seating consisted of mostly small, high-top tables that seated two people with one or two with 4 seats.I believe our section of the restaurant was closed for our event. The service was excellent. Our server was very attentive to keep beverages filled.“
“We were a party of 9 that came in on mother's day. Our waiter, very tall gentleman, was absolutely fantastic! Our food was delicious and timely. We are a greenville family that has celebrated many milestones at the various Stax establishments. I celebrated my high school graduation (1988) at Stax Peppermill. Thank you guys for a wonderful meal!!“
“Loved the vegetable quiche. Large selection of desserts. Can dine inside or eat at tables outside of the establishment. Food can be microwaved by request. Will have to visit again for dessert.Vegetarian options: There are a few savory dishes with no meat.“
“We just started trying HM Meal prep with our first order to help my MIL and husband have some healthier options on hand. The taste is a big hit over here! The amount of food also was able to fill my mother-in-law and my husband, even though typically they would consume a larger quantity of food with each meal. I liked the automated text and that once I received the delivery window a real person reached out directly. The gentleman helped bring the food in and put it on the kitchen table for me and helped me empty the reusable bags so we didn’t have to return them. He was very friendly and professional. When I was reading through all the reviews I knew that my husband and my MIL would love this. They’ve been through 1 million meal prep companies, and by far yours has been the best for them because the taste and convenience DOES matter. I don’t have to convince either of them to eat the meals. They selected what sounded good, it was delivered, then 1 minute in the microwave and DONE! Does not get easier than this.I should mention that my mother-in-law has Parkinson’s which usually means she can’t taste what she’s eating, so it’s actually a huge gift for her to be able to taste the food! After tasting the food, they have both decided they want to replace two meals a day with HM instead of just one. We ordered a couple of the freezer packs as well so we even have some extras in the freezer if we run out before our next order!I’ve been trying for a long time to find a way to cook them extra healthy meals while putting dinner on the table for a family of seven. It’s a relief to not have to do that right now. Very thankful customer.“
“I love eating here. My family wants me to take them here all the time.Vegetarian options: Lots to choose fromDietary restrictions: Great for diabeticsParking: Many open spotsKid-friendliness: Lil barb menu is greatWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in and out“
“Everything you want in a delicious slice of pie! Made with the best ingredients you want to serve your family! We stumbled upon Aunt Tel’s at the Greenville Saturday Market and I’m so grateful we did! The owner is delightful and she is doing such an amazing job. You can taste the sweet citrusy love put into it each bite of this Sweet Potato Pie! Must try!“
“Needed a pie and wasn’t sure where to go since we just moved to the area!! I called The Bakery off Augusta and they were very accommodating! We needed the pie for the following day!! We got an apple pie!!! It not only looked beautiful but it was one of the best pies we ever had!! We will definitely be back! I will add their cakes and other baked items looked amazing !! TY SO VERY MUCH!Parking: There are 3 spots in front of the bakery and more parking in back and on the street as well.“
“My husband and I were walking looking for a place to eat, so we stopped at this restaurant, which from the outside looks nice and caught our attention. Our waitress was Ashley, she offered us excellent service, all very well with that. Now, I ordered a drink and the truth is it didn't surprise me, I was expecting something more based on all the ingredients it said on the menu. Anyway, the food, we expected more, for a large place, very nice, cozy atmosphere, the food should have more impact.“
“We are from out of town and decided to swing by this local Jason's Deli. The food was great and came out super fast. But this review is mostly about the service. Haven was amazing. She answered all my questions about different menu items and helped me choose the most delicious item. She was so personable. She made a connection with my littles with me. She made a great impression on my daughter, granddaughter and myself. She is a 10 out of 10!! A keeper !!“
“I visited Brick Street Cafe this past Friday while in Greenville,SC for lunch. I had the vegetable quiche and it was fair. It had been over baked and almost cool when served. They are known for their cakes and tried their sweet potato cupcake. It was delicious. So yes for the cake!Parking: Park behind the building!“
“Can't say enough good things about this place, I ordered Steak Yaki Udon, the vegetables were cooked perfectly and the beef was really good, the noodles were great, and ordered a specialty roll, six sense, really good, with wasabi and gari which topped off everything, very nice atmosphere and a friendly waitress and owner.“
“This restaurant has been one of my childhood favorites in downtown. The shrimp and grits and fried green tomatoes are really good and unique here. I would also recommend trying their biscuits. One downside is the wait time, if you don't reserve ahead of time you usually have to wait a while due to their popularity. Also the later you arrive the more likely they are to not have something on the menu, for instance we arrived at 8(9 is closing time) and they didn't have the cast iron pork, meatloaf, and bistro fillet available. Other than that - great food and service!Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options, but it's pretty limited“
“We wanted a quick breakfast after the outrageous over an hour wait at flying biscuits yesterday. Food came out quick. BEC sandwich was the best I’ve ever had. Staff was also great. Wish I had room to try their chocolate croissant. Will definitely stop by again if we visit Greenville again.“
“Red took care of us, and I could not have asked for a better experience! The food was absolutely wonderful and she took care of everything for us. We sat at the bar, watched the ball game and had some of the best food I've eaten in ages. You guys need to go and check out the shrimp scampi, chicken empanadas, chicken mushroom crepes and let Red make you an awesome drink. I'm sorry I don't have pictures, but trust me you need to go and enjoy the experience“
“I enjoyed this small shop in a hidden spot along Reedy River. I was impressed with the intentionality of the worker who made sure she warmed the milk and honey that I asked for before putting it in my tea! Small things like this are noteworthy, and I’ll definitely return for the diverse collection, quality of tea and impeccable service.“
“This is a family favorite for us for some time and I should have reviewed long ago. Tonight we got take out but we also dine in sometimes. The first thing you notice walking in is that the restaurant is just extremely clean and pleasant. A lot of places in Greenville have really gone downhill so it’s nice to see a place that is kept so well and is very inviting to walk into! The food is always incredibly fresh and delicious. Curries, stir fries, spring rolls, soup. And the portions are very generous. We always enjoy leftovers the next day. Can’t say enough about Kannika’s. I think it’s the best restaurant in Greenville.“
“I love this place! Their food is good, and so is the coffee! The place is very eclectic, and I love supporting local businesses, it’s not like anywhere else in travelers rest. I love the artsy feel to it. Definitely recommend for brunch. The servers are really awesome and always are super positive:) def check it “
