“Awesome craft beer estate, this place is a beautiful structure on beautiful grounds. We took the 45 minute beer tour. That's not long enough. Take a longer tour of you have the time. There's so much that goes into making beer. I never knew! You get try try samples after the tour. They also have a gift shop, restaurant and live music events. Fun and informative place to visit!“
“I have been to many fine drinking establishments in my life but the Blue Door is my all time favorite. It has over 500 beers to choose from under perfect refrigeration. In addition there are 20 rotating taps of excellent curated beers from the best local and regional craft breweries. If that sounds like too many choices, just ask the owners John or AJ to help you. Tell them what you like and they will find a perfect match for you. They have been amazing in helping me try new beers but matching it to what I enjoy. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and has a feeling of comfort to it that invites you to relax. I highly recommend the Blue Door.“

“Love the atmosphere here. So beautifully designed. Love the homey feel, you just want to hang out. They offer life music occasionally, games, open fire pits, gardens, and walkways. The food is very good. It was expensive and small portions, but you are also paying for the experience.“

“Wow - this was the best scooped frozen custard I've ever had. I am a big purist when it comes to ice cream and other frozen desserts. I don't order blended, topped, mixed stuff. I want only the dessert in its purest form. And this place is excellent for that. It was super refreshing after an afternoon of hiking. We got fast service and very generous servings. I could only eat about 2/3 of the double scoop. My husband had about 3/4 of a medium Whit-zer (? Sorry if I'm spelling that wrong!).“

“I seldom write reviews, but this experience was exceptional, and I also own a restaurant in another city. The service was outstanding: John, who is also a bartender, and Chris, who was training under him, were fantastic. The square root salad with figs was superb, and the Brussels sprouts were delicious too. They exceeded expectations, and I was impressed by the service and quality.Ps. The GM, pretty sure ‘Jacob’ was authentic and great as well.“
“Super tasty food, craft drinks and they are brewing their own craft beer (YUM!). Great listening room and sound system- relaxed neat venue. The space out back is large and you can listen to the music behind the stage when the large garage door is open : ) ? place“

“On vacation from Michigan, we needed a late lunch after hiking to multiple falls in the mountains. What a find! It was warm and breezy outside; perfect for their bright picnic tables on the patio. The menu has astonishing variety and is all fresh ingredients, made onsite. We each ordered 2 and had the option of flour or corn tortillas. We tried gyro, fish (grilled), steak and carnitas. Each has perfect seasoning and flavor.Unlimited chip basket came with a salsa trio. Again, each flavor was unique and delicious. And the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. If we get back to the area, this place has earned a repeat visit.Kid-friendliness: Indoor and outdoor seating.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat entrance and patio area“

“Tickle my peach and call me Payton! Mills river bold rock is the best place for a brunch or a late night dinner and hangout. They have many great flavors of cider as well as amazing food from their food truck. The inside and outside atmosphere is great with friendly staff and music! Absolutely recommend.“
“A laid back family run winery. Very warm and welcoming vibes. There was live music when we arrived, that was a nice touch. The wine was tasty. I got a glass & my husband got a flight. He is usually a sweet wine drinker, but still liked 3/4 of his tasting despite them being on the drier side. I do think the bottle prices were a little bit on the high side. However, being a family owned business, I understand the time and hard work that went into each bottle & can respect their value. We do not live locally, but will stop by again the next time we’re in town.“

“I love to camp and around Brevard is a great place, but I also like good coffee which I haven't figured out how to make in a campground. Stopped in here with my daughter and both of us had the best coffee we could remember. I had the Americana / coffee and she had the dirty chai. Pup cups for the dogs of course... Came back the next day for two different drinks and they were awesome as well.Seems like there can be a bit of a wait during the peak morning rush but it doesn't last long and it's well worth the wait anyway.Hopefully I'm not messing up the ranking by giving only four stars... especially when I'm not sure what to improve, but I'm a tough grader so don't let that throw you, it's great coffee. Almost forgot! she gave us some great tips for vegan food in Asheville and a couple of cool places to check out in the area as well. Now I really feel like a jerk for only giving four stars!“

“Had a yummy Cobb Salad - my favorite dressing is the honey mustard, then ranch, then the vinaigrette. We also got a side of the fried brussel sprouts with Aioli drizzle. Really yummy - the brussel sprouts were warm and flavorful and crispy. The chicken on the salad was 10/10 and the salad was much more filling than I anticipated. The trees were in bloom and it was a beautiful sunny day so we had the pleasure of eating outside, but there is indoor seating as well.Next time I'm definitely getting some coffee and breakfast sandwichs!Vegetarian options: Egg and cheese breakfast sandwichs, you can get things without the chicken/meat“
“Just a little outside of Asheville Burning Blush is located in the Mills River area with a few other breweries. This brewery looks like a beautiful church inside some have said or more of a Edgar Allen Poe with the stained glass windows featuring a raven. You can find many food trucks throughout the week. I try and hit this spot as often as I can when traveling to Asheville.“
“This is a great gem in the 7th Street District! They have a really good variety of beers (not all IPAs like a lot of breweries), including some great dark ones (try the schwarzbier or the porter). The owners are very nice and knowledgeable about their craft and Hendersonville. Good outdoor space and some TVs inside in case you have to catch a game. Might be my new favorite brewery in town!“
“My husband and I stopped here, our last full day before we head back home to michigan, and I have to say this place was amazing! The atmosphere was 10/10, the service was 10/10 and the beer as well, 10/10. I asked the girl at the counter who was on the shorter side with brown hair (I didn't catch her name but she was awesome) what beer I should try because I was having a hard time deciding and then she suggested a few to sample so I did. I really liked them all! I also bought a four pack and she said she'd leave it in the fridge for when I'm ready to leave and when I went up there to grab it I hadn't even said anything yet and she was grabbing the pack and putting it in a bag for me. I wish I lived closer!!“
“Dry Falls Brewing has an amazing vibe with an excellent variety of tasty beers. Jeff the owner sets the bar for fantastic customer service and knowledge of craft beer. Not only did he and his team do a great job of taking care of us, he also hooked us up with dinner reservations for 8 at a great restaurant, the Flat Rock Wood Room, on a Saturday night.“
“Stopped in to test out the local beers and have a bite to eat. The selection of beers is extensive. The bar and patio are simple, comfy and blend into the surrounding mountain region effortlessly. You feel at home and welcome the moment you step onto the property. There’s a selection of books and board games to invite gatherings and remind you to relax. A quaint and delicious stop not too far from the Blue Ridge parkway.I had the Brussels sprouts with my burger and beer and they were the best deliciousness I have eaten in a long time. My mind, my body and my heart were very happy.Highly recommend this stop in Fletcher. It is just what the Blue Ghost Firefly wants you to experience in these rolling hills parts of North Carolina.Did you know that the Blue Ghost Firefly is only found in these regions? How can you not visit this brewery and celebrate the Firefly’s rare existence with a hearty meal and cold, rich, tasty beer?“

“Wine Down is under new management and is now open Monday through Saturday 3 to 9. The always great wine menu has been expanded with some tasty new choices. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. They also have an excellent selection of craft beers. The food is great, the daily soup special is always amazing.“
“I love this place. My husband and I came back from Looking Glass Waterfall, which was incidentally passing this way, and I saw the saw Oskar Blues Brewery sign it take a right. Then we followed the map and found the big can and big buildings, and we tried to drive to behind and found bar beer. The temperature was perfect and the music was very good.“
“fantastic. my fiancée and I both loved our snow cones and our dogs were so delighted with their cute pup cups! this is a snow cone place that has actually good flavors and fluffy “snow,” not just ice chips. highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.“
“Charming place, super friendly owner and staff and very yummy drinks . Went on the Wed songwriters in the round night. Good songs and talented local musicians in an intimate setting, telling stories about their songs, harmonizing together. Really enjoyed it and I highly recommend.“

“This restaurant is usually amazing, today they were very busy and short staffed and I got plastic utensils for the first time after going over 20+ times, I highly recommend the massaman curry. But overall a great place to eat and with the summer coming up these conditions shouldn't be too surprising.Vegetarian options: Tofu and veggie options.“
“My visit to Sierra Nevada in Asheville was an absolute delight from start to finish. The 45-minute tour we embarked on was nothing short of captivating, allowing us to explore the brewery's inner workings and granting us access to behind-the-scenes areas.Upon arrival, the first thing that struck us was the sheer beauty of the building and its surroundings. The architecture was stunning, and the grounds were immaculately kept, creating a picturesque setting for our visit. The customer service was exceptional, with the staff displaying a genuine warmth and enthusiasm that added to the already positive vibes of the place. It was evident that they were passionate about what they do, and their enthusiasm was infectious. We were pleased to find that there was ample parking available, and even better, it was free—a rare find these days. The selection of beers was impressive, with a wide variety to choose from.Even without taking the tour, one could wander through the corridors, soaking in the history and accessing several rooms of the factory. However, the paid tour took our experience to another level, providing us with a comprehensive understanding of the brewery's history and operations. At the conclusion of the tour, we were treated to a tasting of four beers, which was both informative and enjoyable. It was fascinating to learn about the unique qualities of each beer and the thought process behind their creation. For beer connoisseurs, Sierra Nevada is a must-visit. The facility and property are stunning, both in terms of their beauty and design. Every aspect of the experience, from the tour to the tasting, was expertly crafted to provide visitors with an unforgettable experience. In conclusion, our trip to Sierra Nevada was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of excellent customer service, beautiful surroundings, and top-notch beer made for a truly memorable visit. We can't wait to return!“

“My wife and I looked into several cake bakeries, but in the end, we chose Mara. Simply put, she was awesome, everything about the cake was awesome, and the value that you get is undeniable. She even argued with our venue to move the cake table to ensure the safely of our cake. Don't let her busy restaurant scare you. When it's "your" day, nothing else matters to her.“
“We had a terrific lunch and brew at the restaurant Friday (March 1st) and I gotta say that this is a really awesome place to eat. I had the most fantastic Caesar Salad w/chicken and a IPA beer. This is an outstanding place with great vibe, great food, and great people. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Mills River Brewing Co. and give it my highest recommendation of 5/5. This place will not disappoint !!!“

“Had a wonderful experience at Quixote. I wouldn't call it fine cuisine but definitely worth a visit. The staff was very attentive and brought out heaters on a cold day. Their drink specials were pretty tasty albeit a little weak. The food was good, it wasn't anything exceptional but hit the spot. Probably shouldn't have 'fine cuisine' in the restaurant name. Nevertheless, it's a worthwhile Mexican fare restaurant, would go again.“
“Best brewery in the area. Atmosphere is fantastic. Food options are delicious. Service is unmatched - bartenders are great. Fast, friendly, and efficient. Couldn't ask for more.Live music maybe. I guess I could ask for just a little bit more.“
“A nice brewery with a good Munich dunkel. The main seating area is what you might expect from a microbrewery. The rear patio seating however is in an alley in reminded me more of an employee break area. I mention this because we brought our dog and that's where dogs are supposed to sit unless they are service animals and the area needs to be improved to truly be a customer patio seating area. That outdoor seating area in back left me a little disappointed.“

“The food was amazing! The group I went with all enjoyed their food, I would highly recommend their corn beef and cabbage. The ONLY reason service got marked down was because of appearance. Our waitress looked like she had just rolled out of bed and was still wearing her pajamas. Her attitude was not bad, just an unprofessional appearance. Overall, I would recommend it.“
“Wish you had more of your own beers, but I understand the work involved with that. Had your Chai Amber at White Squirrel Market.. delicious! As for the taproom.. when there are people at the bar, get rid of the chair for bartenders to sit in, there are plenty of people to talk to at the bar, have them up and moving. As a former Taproom Manager, it doesn’t look good, also, part of what draws people in are the people behind the bar, have them engage. Love the beer, space is cool.“

I said I didn't but I would soon and she gave me a taste for him too and she gave me one of the little character cups for my son. Pizza is always amazing. The crispy crust of the detroiter is my favorite. The gelato was fantastic. Definitely love this pizza placeVegetarian options: You can have as much or full vegetables as you want on your pizzaKid-friendliness: Has activities for kids“

“I met a friend here for ice-cream a couple of weeks ago. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, courteous and kind. The ice-cream was nice and cold and sooo yummy. There is no inside dining, as it is an ice-cream stand. They have picnic tables to sit at and one could always eat in their car. They have a drive up window for ordering as well. I had such a wonderful time and look forward to going back. If you find yourself in Etowah, or passing through, I highly recommend you consider stopping in for something. They also have food items too. Based on my positive experience, I highly recommend.“
