“Nice selection of ciders at this spot. Cool decor, nice outdoor area and watching the bottling and packaging was fun. Try any cider because they are all delicious. Prossecco was a neat option. Recommended.”
“This place is fantastic. If you’ve done a brewery tour before, you probably don’t need to do this one. However the beer and service are top notch.Me and my wife were here for a long weekend and came back twice to get some drinks in the tap hall.Grounds are beautiful and the service was fantastic.I’d highly recommend making the stop.”
“Just a little outside of Asheville Burning Blush is located in the Mills River area with a few other breweries. This brewery looks like a beautiful church inside some have said or more of a Edgar Allen Poe with the stained glass windows featuring a raven. You can find many food trucks throughout the week. I try and hit this spot as often as I can when traveling to Asheville.”
“Great spot next to Ingles - lots of outdoor. Recommend sitting at the bar if you are at peak times as there is a long line for food! Great burgers and the fried green tomatoes are to die ”
“Its been my go to place when I visit Asheville. I aways order the veggie Pizza they have. They let me customize my pizza and always make it to perfection. I have been coming here for over 4 years now and the staff is really good. They recently moved to a new location and have awesome interior and a nice dining area. Can't wait to visit again.”
“Delicious, authentic Mexican food. The recipes are most likely straight from a grandmother's house. The meat is tasty and flavorful. The tortillas seemed home made and just a wonderful texture and taste. The beans and rice had flavor and did not make me feel bloated at all. I am going back whenever I get a day off during the week.”
“We had a terrific lunch and brew at the restaurant Friday (March 1st) and I gotta say that this is a really awesome place to eat. I had the most fantastic Caesar Salad w/chicken and a IPA beer. This is an outstanding place with great vibe, great food, and great people. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Mills River Brewing Co. and give it my highest recommendation of 5/5. This place will not disappoint !!!”
“We went here for a birthday dinner with friends from Spain. Absolutely delicious food and extraordinarily nice staff! Many different salsas, authentic; recommendation!”
“Andy and the two lovely ladies that work at subway are amazing!! My 5 year old loves going in there and everyone being so friendly! They also make the best subs!! ?”
“I stopped for breakfast with a good friend of mine and we both ordered the same thing, scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, home fries, biscuit and a side of gravy. Our waitress was excellent, very attentive. However, I had 2 complaints: my friend's eggs had no cheese and we were charged an extra $3 each for a cup of gravy. If we had known that there was a charge, we would have only ordered one side and split it. Secondly, when the waitress brought my friend's food back, in a matter of seconds, the cook had thrown a slice of cheese on her eggs and didn't bother to heat it, so it wasn't even melted. How fast is it to scramble 2 new eggs with melted cheese throughout like mine was? A minute or two? And then we were both charged another $1.50 each for cheese on our eggs! I told our waitress that I wasn't going to pay for a cold slice of cheese and she took it off the bill, but I was mad that overall we were charged a total of $7.50 for cheese and a side of gravy, which was the only part of the meal that was tasteless. The food was excellent except for the gravy and a cold slice of cheese but we won't go back. I can't imagine why our waitress didn't inform us about extra charges after she knew what we wanted. She doesn't set the rules, and I noticed at the cash register to pay, the cook came out and rang me out, and I'm pretty sure he was the manager if not the owner. So he charges for every little thing while another delicious diner where we had the same breakfast a week before (The Waffle House, where the gravy was actually tasty sausage gravy and no extra charges) and other diners I can think of, clearly don't. It's a shame, since my friend lives in Mills River and this restaurant is quite close and convenient, the service excellent, the food delicious, but those extra fees are quite high and not worth it. I will add that the restaurant was quite empty at lunchtime and now I know why.Parking: Large parking lot surrounding the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs”
“Ethan made for us some incredibly delicious food, and he was extraordinarily friendly. I was truly impressed. Thanks, Ethan.Vegetarian options: I just customize my orders to be vegetarian which offers a wide variety of fresh veggies.”
“Used drive thru employee sounded like he didn’t like being there and they forgot our biscuits but did give us extra when I walked in. Overall not bad convenient and priced ”
“Had lunch and everything was outstanding. Started with the smoked salmon dip that's served with some excellent spiced crackers. The group had the shrimp “scampi”, moules frites, and the burger. All of the meals were excellent. We had the dessert special and I can't remember the name, but it was great as well. We'll definitely be back.”
“Tours for all levels, the General Tour was great for the whole group, but I'll be back for a more indepth tour. Mary, our guide answered any and all questions.”

Brunch yesterday was next level. Thank you chef's TT and Jill.”

“Love the atmosphere here. So beautifully designed. Love the homey feel, you just want to hang out. They offer life music occasionally, games, open fire pits, gardens, and walkways. The food is very good. It was expensive and small portions, but you are also paying for the experience.”
“We celebrated a wonderful 32nd anniversary and couldn't have picked a better place! The staff were very friendly and willing to assist throughout the meal. The food was excellent and the best we have had in a long time. The setting is beautiful! And we happened to be there on Thursday, where they offer a 20% discount for those who live locally.”
“Loved our servers - Mustafas, Nishant, Sangan. These lovely young men are attentive and pleasant. (It helps that they are so good-looking, too, all you single young ladies out there...)Vegetarian options: Fried cauliflower!!!”

“Love this place! I swing by almost every day on my way to work! I’m a huge fan of the cinnamon honey add vanilla latte! Every person I have met who works here has been so kind and friendly. Jason, thank you for starting my day with a smile and wonderful pick me ups!!”
“I visited Big J's for the first time the other day from an associate referral. I consider myself a food critic and I can say if you are a Fried Chicken lover they serve some of the "Best" fried chicken I have ever eaten. Better than "All" the "Big Chain" Chicken restaurants. My food was served Hot and Fresh. The service was welcoming and friendly it felt like home. The macaroni and cheese, plus potato salad I ordered for my sides were cooked and mixed to perfection. Most importantly the prices were affordable and reasonable.I assured them they had secured another customer and that I would definitely return.”
“i really enjoyed this! i was hungry after a long hike and i’d read good reviews about this place. I ordered el cubano sandwich and a water. the sandwich was great, toasted well with good ingredients, and it came with potato chips that i enjoyed putting in the sandwich. The water was nice and cold too. Only suggestion is asking for extra pickles in the sandwich, they need a little more in the ratio. Very pleased! would take anyone here!”
“Ever have been let down, always great food and service from the time you call in or go to eat at the restaurant service is attentive and delivery right on time every time. Have used them for many years and they have never let me down. Don't know what I would do without their help with making my meetings extra special with delicious food. I really can't say enough about Black Bear. Try it you will see.”
“Stopped in to test out the local beers and have a bite to eat. The selection of beers is extensive. The bar and patio are simple, comfy and blend into the surrounding mountain region effortlessly. You feel at home and welcome the moment you step onto the property. There’s a selection of books and board games to invite gatherings and remind you to relax. A quaint and delicious stop not too far from the Blue Ridge parkway.I had the Brussels sprouts with my burger and beer and they were the best deliciousness I have eaten in a long time. My mind, my body and my heart were very happy.Highly recommend this stop in Fletcher. It is just what the Blue Ghost Firefly wants you to experience in these rolling hills parts of North Carolina.Did you know that the Blue Ghost Firefly is only found in these regions? How can you not visit this brewery and celebrate the Firefly’s rare existence with a hearty meal and cold, rich, tasty beer?”
“Ryan J was our waiter on the afternoon of 2/21/24. He took very good care of us along with our two dogs outside. His attention to detail and pleasant attitude is why we keep coming back. The dogs had (burger that they split) my wife and I had the Norwegian halibut with lobster sauce and kale. This place is hands down the best restaurant in NC.”
“This little bakery has all kinds of amazing, delicious treats and breads. And the folks there get to know you & treat you really well every time. They're open very limited hours and will run out of goodies quickly, so get there before 10. We love this bakery & highly recommend it!”
“I absolutely love this place. It feels like someone has helped get it an all new design and it's great! I can't remember exactly what it's called but I love the curry fries. Our server April is a blast and Sheila is super awesome to talk to.”
“My personal opinion: Collard Greens, awesome, with a BITE! Corn Bread, ok. Ribs, Awesome! Wings, Awesome! Brisket, pulled style, great! BBQ sauces, great! We'll be back!Parking: It's a shared lot. Use caution coming and going.”
