“My husband made a reservation last night on Rezzy, but the restaurant had no reservation for us. We went to another restaurant and tried to be seated without a reservation, and finially returned. The owner hostess sat us immediately. It was fun being in the old Greyhound bus terminal, all the lives that passed that building! The service was fantastic and team focused! I had we had argula salad, with juillianed watermellon radish with dates and hazel nut nuts- Amazing. we had Pita bread with pramasean cheese, moutain trout and hanger steak with crispy potaos. All was delicious but the dish that topped all was the olive oil cake with blood oranges and basil. so unique- not sweet, an amazing refreshing combination of flavors I'v not expierenced before. Top grades to the chef/owner. I love that this is a couple running a restaurant, totally want to support that! GO!”

You will not be disappointed. And if...if you are and you communicate it- they will make it right. You will have one of the best meals of your life.”

“This restaurant took me back to Berlin and Augsburg from my old Army days! We ordered the pork schnitzel with German potato salad and rot kraut as well as a German salad. The meal was delicious!! The portion sizes were awesome and we took food home for a second meal. Our waitress was Morgan and she was friendly and very attentive! She is a real star in this friendly place. My only disappointment was my apple strudel. I like mine pretty simple with apples and phyllo dough. Today it was full of raisins and walnuts as well as the apples and dough plus creamy vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.\nThis is a great place to eat a genuine German meal and feel the ambience of this faraway place!”

The quality of this wine was top notch, and the service was great as well. Spectacular views and such a peaceful setting. All adult crowd was nice, it is 21 and older there. Will be taking my pit Atlas next time, dogs welcomed if on a leash. All around, this place is beautiful and everyone is so friendly here. So glad I ran across this place, my new evening relaxation spot!!”

“I want to do a shout out to a Sam’s Club employee at the Hendersonville location. Today I went to pick up one of my medications which normally is not that expensive. But because of a mix up it was going to be well over $375 for a months supply in stead of $25 for a 3 months supply. Christina work very hard with my insurance company and was able to get it worked out so I could have my life saving medication. The folks at Sam’s don’t always get the credit they deserve but for seniors this is the place to go for your meds. Christina, thank you from this Old Guy!!!!”

“This is THE best Tex-Mex in this area. Being from Texas, I have really missed good true Tex-Mex since moving to NC. This satisfies my Mexican food cravings every time. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is hard working and very friendly. The food comes out quickly. I haven't found anything on the menu that I didn't like. Oh, and the salsa is muy bien! The chips and salsa are FREE... AND, they bring them to your table, unlike many Mexican food restaurants here in the state, in which you have to "get-it-yo'self" at a salsa bar. If you are looking to try something different, a great appetizer to try is the ground beef empanadas! They don't disappoint. Try them!”

“We spent our day and evening at Burntshirt Vineyards -Hendersonville for Valentine's Day (yes, lunch and dinner.) The lunch, wine, and live music were fantastic. Service was amazing. Zna (sp?) was our server and so attentive and accommodating. We came back to the restaurant for the Valentine's Dinner later that evening and had the most amazing experience. The food and wine were awesome. You can't compete with the value of the meal and bottle of wine for the price they charged. Zna was our server again and she was equally as attentive and accommodating that evening. She made you feel welcomed and appreciated. We will be definitely come back for next year's dinner if they offer it again. We love Burntshirt and will be back as often as we can but the Valentine's Day weekend experience was one of a kind. Hats off to the manager, kitchen, and wait staff!! Thank you!!”

Incredible Tacos and Torta at Taquira El Chuy!

I recently had the pleasure of stopping by Taquira El Chewy, and it’s easily the best taco truck I've ever experienced. The Pastor Torta was out of this world—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with flavor in every bite. I also tried two Pastor Tacos, and they were just as fantastic, with a deliciously soft tortilla and a mouthwatering balance of spices. My wife loved her three Chicken Tacos, which were tender, fresh, and cooked to perfection. We washed it all down with two bottles of Yoritos orange soda, which paired perfectly with the food. The team at Taquira El Chewy clearly puts heart into every dish, and the food quality and service were top-notch. If you're a fan of authentic Mexican street food, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be coming back for more and recommend it to everyone in the area!”
