“Popped in w/o reservation on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated right away. Our server was knowledgeable and efficient. Though just opened from the devastation of Helene, the food was fresh and hot to the table with a very short wait. We both had samplers. one sausage and the other a schnitzel variety. The entree and sides were delicious. We lived in Germany for seven years and the food was spectacularly authentic, even down to the broetchen in the bread basket, crunchy on the outside and softly chewy inside. If you like real-deal German food, make a reservation today. Sehr gute geschmeckt!“

“Today I met a friend at Three Chopt in Hendersonville, NC. This was the *first* time I had eaten at this restaurant in our lovely downtown even though I had heard of it before. Not only was the atmosphere quaint and the service very friendly but the food was DELICIOUS and the owner (Matthew) is awesome. This spot is a GEM in Hendersonville. *** As we were finishing up our meal and paying the check Matthew came around to *each* table with a free cookie - spreading kindness and love and asking everyone to call a friend or family member and tell them how much they mean to you (as he had just lost a close friend). I will be back to help support this local business and all the good they have in their heart and share with others! ...(and order the "Dearest David" sandwich - yum!)“

Stopped by after leaving the apple orchards. My husband is Mexican is said the food was amazing. I don’t usually like pupusas, but these were GREAT.

“LOVE DRY FALLS! Father/son brewers, lovely bartenders, AMAZING variety. Along your traditional brews they offer a variety of sours, seltzers and NA beers. Food trucks daily and weekly events like live music, trivia (but totally blanking on what they call it... Not your traditional style of trivia) and music bingo. Also able to buy a beer for service workers, first responder, UTILITY WORKERS, teachers, etc. so you can "pay it forward". Dog friendly. 10/10, one of my favorite places in Hendo!!“

Incredible Tacos and Torta at Taquira El Chuy!

I recently had the pleasure of stopping by Taquira El Chewy, and it’s easily the best taco truck I've ever experienced. The Pastor Torta was out of this world—juicy, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with flavor in every bite. I also tried two Pastor Tacos, and they were just as fantastic, with a deliciously soft tortilla and a mouthwatering balance of spices. My wife loved her three Chicken Tacos, which were tender, fresh, and cooked to perfection. We washed it all down with two bottles of Yoritos orange soda, which paired perfectly with the food. The team at Taquira El Chewy clearly puts heart into every dish, and the food quality and service were top-notch. If you're a fan of authentic Mexican street food, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be coming back for more and recommend it to everyone in the area!“

“We LOVE Mike's. They literally helped us set up an impromptu wedding after our plans kicked the bucket. The staff is always super nice, helpful, easy to talk to. Love that they're doggo friendly on their front patio area. Menu is tasty and reasonably priced, sundaes are legitimately the best ever (real fruit, yay!). Favorite diner for life!“

Try the Black Bear on tap, if you like darker beer that one is great. Saw the Trophy Husbands band play there and they were awesome! Don't miss! “Quick service, food is delicious, good sake options. The parking lot is either too small or it's not being watched for people parking and walking downtown Hendersonville. It was full and we were lucky someone was leaving so we could park. Been here twice though, once for lunch and once for dinner and enjoyed it.“

I ate it slow so I could relish every single bite. Today, Hayley was our waitress extraordinaire. We enjoy having our Sunday breakfast at Dixie. Their food is always cooked just right with picture perfect presentation. You definitely eat with your eyes first at Dixie. The entire staff knows what they are doing and they put a lot of care into their food and service. Dixie truly cares about their customers. You become their family when you have breakfast or lunch at Dixie. Very welcoming and sincere. It definitely takes a village to make a restaurant great. “Stopped in for a quick bite on our way home to Pennsylvania. It was decent service, quick ordering. We were in and out in about 20 minutes. The price you can’t beat either… $16 for 2 people, plus a $4 tip. Very reasonable. Fresh food as well!“

The eggdrop soup appeared watered down, and lots of choices were empty and not filled until after we had finished .the fried stuff all tasted like seafood and I don't do seafood Chinese only chicken and beef but usually it's very good and I will give it another try below I will tag my favorites from other visits“
