“The Sierra Nevada brewery is awesome! First off the facility is absolutely fantastic. It’s large but the building and the entire campus are immaculately clean & well kept. It still looks brand new. The tour itself was excellent providing great historical content & insight into their state of the art current operations. Following up the tour with a visit to the Taproom restaurant is a must. The food is phenomenal & the service is top notch. Finally, it was so enjoyable to finish the day with a beer on the patio. I give the Sierra Nevada brewery tour & Taproom my highest recommendation. Can’t wait to take other friends for a visit.“

“This restaurant took me back to Berlin and Augsburg from my old Army days! We ordered the pork schnitzel with German potato salad and rot kraut as well as a German salad. The meal was delicious!! The portion sizes were awesome and we took food home for a second meal. Our waitress was Morgan and she was friendly and very attentive! She is a real star in this friendly place. My only disappointment was my apple strudel. I like mine pretty simple with apples and phyllo dough. Today it was full of raisins and walnuts as well as the apples and dough plus creamy vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.\nThis is a great place to eat a genuine German meal and feel the ambience of this faraway place!“

“If you really do want the best fried chicken, look no further! I got mine with the pimento cheese -YUM! My hubby is more a burger kind of guy, and he loves a good burger here. The potato salad, and the pickles add just the right balance. The food service gas station combo is a thing around here and we love exploring this unique set-up. This one is close to home, and when we take a break from farm chores, it just checks all the boxes.“

After talking with the owner you can tell he has a passion for his home food. He was a chef In the Middle East and everything is home made and hand made. Even his grape leaves take 10 hours to make. FYI this is NOT affiliated with Asheville Brewing Co on Merrimon Ave or Coxe Ave. The pizza here is SOOOOOO much better, so make sure you don’t get them confused. “I heard about Biscuit Head about a month ago, through a Facebook ad. We were in Asheville to visit Biltmore after Christmas,and visited Biscuit Head on Biltmore Ave twice in two days! The whole staff was so friendly, and the vibe in the restaurant is so fun!! Everything we had both days was fantastic! I ordered the Mimosa fried chicken biscuit both days, and the biscuit donuts, as well! I had to keep apologizing to my family because I was making too many “yum” noises. My husband said the sausage gravy was the best he’s had in ever, and your coffee was great!! When we left yesterday, we genuinely intended to come back for Brunch #3, but the moods were not in our favor today. We look forward to coming back next time we are in Asheville!!“

“We've been getting a carry-out pizza from Standard almost every year since we began traveling to Asheville back in 2014. We agonized a bit about visiting this year given the catastrophic impacts from Helene late last year, but decided it would be OK ATC since responsible tourists' dollars might be duly welcomed within the community. The pizza I picked up there was as awesome as ever, and I savored each slice while chomping down at the table in our rented cabin at Willow Winds! We'll definitely keep Standard on our must-do list for all future trips! :-)“

Every attendee raved about the meal, and the pricing was very reasonable compared to other catering options we explored. Great service, great help planning, great food, great value!
