We love this neighborhood spot located on the road behind Home Depot in Oakley.The staff are always so kind and friendly. We love to get a mixed papusa per person with an assortment of freshly grilled tacos. Usually steak and chorizo. Their sauces you can add are really nice too along with their pickled veggies! The tacos are not mind blowing but they taste good and are worth it for the convenience and price.You can call ahead and save on wait time. Definitely recommend!
I stayed a night in Asheville, traveling back home for the holidays. Growing up in Los Angeles and parents being from El Salvador, I have to say these pupusas hit right at home for me. It wasn’t doughy and had a good amount of filling. I also had to tried the tamales and they did not disappoint. I’ve been craving for some good Hispanic food since I left Boston and traveling back to Los Angeles and this place definitely satisfy my craving.
