“Visited 3/25/24. Omg go to rebel burger if you haven't been already-what a solid food truck this is. My biggest regret was that I ate this burger so quick that I didn't have time to take pics. The process is fairly simple, you order via QR code, grab a drink at Hi-Wire if you wish in the meantime, then wait for them to email you that your order is ready. My mom and I split a rebel burger and an abundance bowl. The only thing we couldn't think of was how to tweak the ingredients while ordering online (my mom initially didn't want the mayo), but honestly upon trying the burger, we both admitted the ingredients included were perfection. That is one good burger and the bun was delicious too. And the abundance bowl was just as good-so flavorful and well balanced. A side/smaller version of the abundance bowl would be an awesome option instead of fries as something to go with the burger (we didn't want fries because we had already had some earlier in the day). It works just as well on its own though and is pretty large so you may find yourself with leftovers. This is one food truck you shouldn't miss.“
“Chaunie’s is absolutely the best place to go for coffee! I’m a daily regular that can’t get enough of the coffees and tacos. My personal favorites are the cold brew with salted caramel and house made oat milk, hot mocha, caramel lattes, and tacos. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Really great service, go in pretty often for a thai milk tea with boba pearls. They are quick with my order and it always taste amazing. They’ve even walked my tea to me the 10 feet because I was in lala land. Amazing to see a family owned space be so accommodating as well as have fun decorations and things to buy.Not sure about the Jesus saves pamphlets but otherwise great space“
“Stumbled upon this gem of a pizza food truck while exploring Asheville's brewery scene and, wow, what a find! The hot honey and bianca pizzas are must-tries; they've quickly become our go-tos. Fresh, hot, and consistently delicious, we find ourselves tracking this truck's location just to get another slice. It's a clear winner in our book. Five stars across the board!“
“The Carnitas (pork) Burrito was full of flavor, the avocado, other fresh ingredients and verde green sauce were all very good. Most of the tortilla was completely burnt, but the parts that weren't tasted so amazing. The onions & peppers were overpowering all the good stuff, but that's just my opinion as Lebowski would say. Service was decent enough, waited at the picnic table area. I'd recommend it, but I didn't have the same 5-star experience as most people have had here. Viva taco trucks!Parking: Large free parking lot“
“This is a needle in the haystack hands down if you are looking for that Hispanic food that is not Mexican American food. This is authentic as it gets tamales papusa street tacos. Do yourself a favor and hit this place up. They will accommodate this is a family owned good group kinda businessVegetarian options: Gotta be okay with beans and cheeseParking: Parking is limited but the service is fast. Usually not a problemWheelchair accessibility: It's easy enough to approach and order. They will accommodate this is a family owned good group kinda business“
“Oh my goodness, there's so much I can say about this food. This is the best Jamaican food in town. My first experience with this food truck was trying the jerk chicken, steamed cabbage, and rice and peas at a pop up event. The smell from my plate filled up my car and I was so excited to try it as I had heard so many good things. My initial assumption was correct the food will make you do a little happy dance. You can tell they really care about the flavor and freshness. The rice and peas had the perfect pinkish tint and a subtle coconut flavor slightly sweet and creamy with the perfect mouth feel when you chew, if that makes sense. A savory, buttery, well seasoned steamed cabbage. I don't like cabbage from anywhere or anyone else, this is this the only cabbage I will eat. Then the Jerk chicken is perfectly seasoned with a nice char to it. The spice/heat kind of sneaks up on you. You'll definitely be licking your lips from the heat but also the flavor, it's a very specific flavor that only a select few can duplicate. I've had a few other experiences with this food truck. Ask for the Pesci platter with an Island Breeez, you will not regret it. I've also had the privilege to experience their private catering where I had a real Jamaican breakfast which consisted of brown stew kidney, yellow yam, boiled green banana and boiled dumplings. The food was so filling and flavorful leaving me with energy and not that sluggish feeling. Cooking is really this chef's gift. My favorites from Queen's Island are the pesci platter, the jerk chicken and the oxtail with all the sides. Queen's Island cuisine has top notch customer service they are friendly, communicative and responsive.“
“This is not the usual craft brewery food truck. This is elevated Thai food made with local ingredients (whenever possible), and it tastes like it. The food is bright and flavorful, often surprisingly light, and the portions are serious. One of the best places in town to eat, full stop.“
“Run don’t walk. Had pizza all over town their only competition is mothers pop up pizza - which iykyk.Dough has great flavor and cooked to perfection. Novel flavors and even the crust is yum. Get. The. Cheesecake. Just do it. Grab a spot and a beer at new origin and live your best life.“
“Falafel is phenomenal. Texture is fantastic and not dry at all. Baba ganoush was tasty and a good product. Beef shawarma is well above average too. Only thing I had the they can work on is the tabbouli. It’s a bit bland but it tastes fresh. It is a bit pricey for the amount of food but the overall experience is very positive.“
“Small menu but wonderful selections. I got the street corn and really enjoyed it. I loved the the broccoli wings but I'm trying to decide if they loved me back because they are indeed very hot. But they were great. My wife got a burger on a gluten-free bun. (Unfortunately, that may not always be available. Hope that they make the choice permanent in the future.) I forgot what my somewhat picky son ordered but I saw he ate the whole thing. I did get a chance to steal some of his fries which were really good. Note that they offer 2 types of fries. We will definitely be going back even though they are on the other side of town.Staff was exceptional.Highly recommended.“
“Had the tacos today, they were FANTASTIC! Baked in toaster oven, they came out perfect and SO tasty. Truly pleasantly suprised, satisfied my fast food craving but kept me on my diet! under 400 calories for 4 tacos, you litteraly cant beat it!!!“
“After following them for years, I finally got to try out their food on Sunday at New Belgium in Asheville. I had the fried oyster sandwich. Probably the BEST fried oysters I've every had... tender, crispy and perfect. Unfortunately I couldn't have the sauce that they put with it because it contains milk, and they didn't offer me an alternative. So I just put some crystal hot sauce on it. My husband had the Seintan sandwich (vegan) that was spiced to taste like Italian sausage. He said it was quite good, and would order again.“
“I've been to Bun Intended before and had great baos, but I had the curry plate today. It was SO good! First, it was a really sizable portion, which was a great surprise. Second, and more importantly, it was delicious! Everything was well cooked and well seasoned. Curry was marked as spicy, and I always get disappointed when something says spicy but ends up being mild. Spice on this did not disappoint! It was really delicious, and I'm looking forward to going back soon!“
“Please add today's special (fried green tomato and house "bacon" wrap) to the daily lunch menu. ***Best vegan food either of us have tasted. Don't miss the jackfruit "crab"cake and brussel sprouts.Kid-friendliness: Kids respectfully treated.“
