“We had the steak taco and beef cheeks taco. Both were good. I would say the beef cheeks was better than the steak. We ordered two of each as they are small. The tortillas are home made and good. We prefer flour tortillas to corn, but that's just a preference. Based on the reviews on yelp, my expectations were really high. Jose's Taco Truck was good......just not "as good" as I expected. The service was excellent. The lady in the truck was very friendly and helpful. The place has a 100% rating for sanitary conditions. That's a huge plus in my book. We will go back and eat there again since it's only $4.00 a taco.“
“Met Jeff at a wedding festival in January. Tried the pork with his sauce and it was absolutely delicious. We tried other places but we ended up coming back to Hit the Pit. Jeff had us come for a tasting and I couldn't help but notice that he has a 100 health score. On top of that, everything he prepared for us was amazing. His sauces are fantastic, the meat is tender and juicy, and the sides are awesome too. We decided to have him cater our wedding, and we are so glad we did. Everyone loved everything and we were so pleased. Jeff is the sweetest guy you'll ever work with also. 10/10 would recommend.“
