I had the Gemelli pasta dish (gluten sensitive) and enjoyed the flavors. For breakfast I had the Benedict Hash. My mouth wants to marry that sauce. The steak and eggs were perfectly cooked, the sauce is bold with lemon and paprika and oh so delicious.“

“extraordinary! we are so fortunate to live down the road from plant. we sat at the bar got a chance to speak to the owner and one of the chefs. the food is out of this world. if I wasn't watching them make it I wouldn't believe that it is vegan. we do our best to keep our vegetarian diets. this place is from another planet. there's nothing on this menu that doesn't blow your mind. the food is delicious and clean and fantastic for you. well worth it“

“We revisited Taco Boy last night. Previously we had a fluke poor experience, but were contacted by management quickly and told they wanted to invite us in again and would make sure we had the great experience they hold themselves to.

The barbeque was so good, and the mac and cheese was super flavorful and cheesy. I had a Mai Tai, and it was honestly the best one I've ever had. Our server was super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The other servers were as well. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I cannot wait to return!!!“

“The food and service were fantastic! However, the reason I will return every time I visit Asheville is not actually food related. The owners fed their employees and their families the entire time they were shut down for Covid. The owner’s husband is involved in many global humanitarian projects. While I was reading the Cantina’s historical wall display, the researcher responsible for the wall came and spent about 20 minutes chatting with me about the area’s history. I was moved by life work of the people associated with the restaurant and will return in support of goodness in the world.“

“One of the best nice meals I’ve had out in a while. We started with an appetizer of hush puppies with goat cheese and they were some of the best I’ve ever had. I had the gnocchi and my wife had the pork chop. Both were so flavorful and great portion sizes. For dessert we had panna cotta and it was a perfect way to finish the meal. Service and atmosphere were nearly perfect. I couldn’t recommend this place more.“

“We stopped in for a quick lunch on a road trip from Chattanooga to Charlotte. One of the people in our party was vegan, so he suggested coming here. We have had mixed experiences with vegan restaurants in the past, but this was amazing. I had the gyro, which was as good of a gyro as I have had anywhere, vegan or otherwise, and the fries were amazing. The service was fast, friendly, and helpful; and the restaurant was clean and well organized. This is definitely on the top of our list for places to eat in Asheville.“

“I love Romeo’s but they need to appreciate their customers more by adding accommodations such as sides of chili or slaw or something as simple as jalapeños on their chili cheese fries. If people are willing to pay, give it to them man. Do better, please.“

“The best pizza we have ever had. We have been enjoying it for some time and had it when our parents came for a special occasion. My dad said "I have been on the planet 74 years and this is the best pizza I have ever had" (meat lovers, of course). I am glad I live close enough to enjoy it often!“

“Great places for outdoor shows!

So many great food and beverage places right on the river! This was my first time here but it seems it will be closed by the end of the year. That's so sad! I hope they can find a way to thrive.

Free parking and shuttle was a major plus. Lots of security throughout the event. The sound was great for 3 out of the 4 bands we saw.

Several families were there and lots of places to sit on the ground or your own camping chair.“

Don't disgrace yourself and get a flour Tortilla bc their housemade corn tortillas are phenomenal even of you typically don't love corn. “So I’ve been avoiding this place thinking it was a chain , after many disappointing meals at Gypsy queen(used to love them they went down hill, and holy moly what a dirty kitchen) I decided to try Mr. Kabab, and I was not disappointed in the least bit. After talking with the owner you can tell he has a passion for his home food. He was a chef In the Middle East and everything is home made and hand made. Even his grape leaves take 10 hours to make. This is the best middle eastern food in town hands down… I wish he would change the storefront to better represent his quality of food. !!! “Let’s start with the quality of burgers: Definitely good burgers, I asked for medium well but got medium done, not a huge deal, my husband’s was medium well. Good flavor, fresh, fast service, I love that they have Mexican drinks. The fries however were so dreadful, a basket of black, soggy sweet potato fries with absolutely no flavor, it’s as if the oil were too burnt, the potatoes must’ve been reheated in it. Just nasty. I was pleased and disappointed in the same dinner.“
