“Service with a smile. The staff paitnelty waited as I made my final decision. I ended up choosing two small cups of ice cream, one being a hemp infused offering with fuge brownie chunks, the other being an espresso flavored ice cream. Both were very creamy, tasty, and not overly sugary. I love the variety of flavors, not all of them were your typical ice cream shop flavors.

“Stopped in here the other day for a little treat. They had a special going on of a black cherry and chocolate mixture. It was the monthly special and a little more than the other ones on the menu, but they didn’t have a price. At eight dollars it felt a little expensive, but it tasted creamy and decadent and delicious.The service was quite good. All of the workers were very busy but friendly enough. A little chaotic to sit inside so I took it to go.A small certainly because as I said it Is quite rich. Might be good to share or have place of a meal. “If you are out and about in Asheville, I definitely recommend stopping and getting a scoop (or more) at The Hop. The normal flavors (vanilla and chocolate) are just average. But the rotating flavors are exceptional and inventive. They are also made with local ingredients which is a plus. Ice cream is above average, but not quite creamy enough to warrant 5 stars.“

“They'll make a shake out of any flavor. Add malt if you like. This might be obvious, but I would recommend one without nuts. They'll do waffle cones, regular cones, sundaes, you name it. All of it is delicious and priced well. There is some seating inside and a lovely outdoor area with a cool vibe.
