Ice Cream Shops near Weaverville

“Love the “small town” vibe and nostalgia, not just for the slower pace and care but also because I’m mindful of my money going to local small business rather than corporations. The service is top notch and always friendly. When you call, an actual human answers the phone. It’s conveniently located in the center of downtown Weaverville and the ice cream counter is a nice touch - can’t beat the smell of fresh waffle cones! The only minor downside is that they’re closed on Sundays, but they’re open late enough on weekdays that it’s never an issue.“

“I'm from out of town and decided to stop in this cute little local ice cream shop. It's very clean and has a mix of handmade item goods like candles, soaps, and crochet items. For my ice cream I got cherry vanilla and bourbon pecan. I really enjoyed the combination of the flavors together. The ice cream is smooth, creamy and very flavorful. The ice cream doesn't melt to quick and the price on a double scoop is absolutely amazing considering the scoop size in the photo. When I come back I will definitely come stop in here again. I recommend just giving it a try.“

“Food is usually ok and service is great if you get the shorter Hispanic lady helping you. The atmosphere is weird because it's a drive through/car hop and the inside is hardly ever open. And when it is there is never anyone consistently checking on the counter.“

“I have no idea why this store rating is only 3.3 (perhaps as more and more people are becoming more and more impossible to satisfy) as I had nothing but an excellent experience here. From the pleasant welcoming of Lexi at the front counter to the interaction with KP while discussing the DQ app, then finally, and especially after speaking with the Assistant Manager, Cohen, about the woefully low number of DQ franchises in or around Asheville, Cohen’s professionalism, assistance by volunteering to check on my order, which was slow but ONLY slow due to “my” error incorrectly specifying a 10 minute ETA, other than immediately.
All 3 deserve positive recognition, however
(and this is IMHO solely) I predict if DQ fails in the recognition “of” and I proffer a deserved elevation “to” more rewarding and profitable positions within the DQ family, a time may soon come when Cohen and DQ will not be spoken in the same sentence…… I am confidant DQ corporate will see what I just saw and do “everything” in their power to retain him.
EVERYTHING I just shared is from me and me alone, lest ANYONE would have the hubris to suggest these DQ family members are guilty of ANY self-promotion!“

“Hilltop Ice Cream in Woodfin is legit. The folks here are awesome and super friendly and always down to help you find the best flavor. Now, if you haven’t tried the goat milk cherry ice cream, you’re missing out. It’s crazy creamy, just the right amount of tart, and straight-up delicious.“

“After walking around the grounds a bit, this was a nice treat on a rather toasty day. The severs were honest in the portions and the flavors were tried were excellent. There's plent of outdoor seating and it's perfect for people watching or if you just wanted to rest your legs. I would definitely come here again!“
