“We dined at Huli Sue's last weekend, and everything was FANTASTIC! We had the sampler platter and added the mac and cheese. The food was absolutely amazing! The barbeque was so good, and the mac and cheese was super flavorful and cheesy. I had a Mai Tai, and it was honestly the best one I've ever had. Our server was super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The other servers were as well. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I cannot wait to return!!!“

“I hadn't been here in several years, and since I don't live in Asheville, I decided to give it a try. Still as tasty as I remembered, although, I opted for chicken, not beef this time. I ordered the special of the day, the blackened chicken burger, topped with gorgonzola, crispy onions & smokey chipotle aoili. It was flavorful and juicy. It came with candied jalapeños but they ran out and substituted pickled, which I requested on the side. Really glad I did, as the combination of flavors were delicious, and I feel the pickled japeños would have overpowered the burger. The feta fries were hot, crispy and divine! My daughter ordered the grassfed farm burger, which she enjoyed but both of our patties were a little small and didn't fill up the bottom bun like they once did. Prices are slightly higher (like everywhere) and tables felt somewhat sticky. I still recommend eating here, and will do so again in the future, but felt like four stars was fair this time.“

“We chose the right option when we ordered at thunder burgerz. The staff was friendly and professional. The food came out quickly and tasted great. They give you huge chunks of bacon on the bacon cheese fries. The menu was pretty extensive so I can definitely eat here with the whole family because they have menu items that appeal to everyone. And get a fried cheesecake. We are going to try to order take out from here and see if it's just as good because the only thing disappointing is that this location is inside the mall food court.

“We went to Baby Bull today while visiting Asheville. It was suggested to us by a local. This was by far the best burger we have ever had. The staff was super friendly and food was top notch. This will be a go to on future visits!“

“It was recommended to come here for a fabulous burger so ventured over to try…we came shortly after they opened for lunch and sat inside as all the outside tables were smoking. Greta service from the bartender and food came pretty quick. No kids menu but the slider will suffice. The burger was good but I’ve had better. Tater tots were crispy (a side order is ALOT) and the potato wedges were great with rosemary.

Kid-friendliness: during the day is ok inside with kids and unfortunately all the outside tables are taken by smokers. Wouldn’t recommend evening times as most come to just drink.“

“Passing through from MO to SC, I found this phenomenal place. From speaking to Robert, feeling at home, sharing a delicious meal with my husband and 5 children... you can't ask for more. We love this place and will continue to stop when in Asheville. Amazing people, atmosphere, and food!“

“Highly recommended. Me and two friends visited on a Saturday afternoon, it wasnt too busy but there was a nice vibe. Ordered food with the app, it didn't take long and was smooth. The regular burger was great, and my friend has the burger with cheese wings which he enjoyed. Beers from the brewery are pleasant and you can find one you like after a taster or two. Nice staff.“

“I visited Asheville, NC recently and ate at East Village Grille and WOW. The food is amazing! I would travel the 8 hours just to eat here again. The wings with homemade ranch dressing are the best thing I’ve ever tasted! Also I had the meatloaf and it was so delicious. Get off your butt and get to East Village Grille for the best food I’ve eaten in a very long time! Yum!!“

“Had dinner with a group of friends. We all enjoyed our meals. Tuna nachos, pork belly and wings were very tasty to start the meal. The main dishes we had included the brick chicken, shrimp and grits and smash burger. We cleaned our plates…great flavors and taste! We would DEFINITELY go back!“
