Wife and I were visiting Asheville for the Southern Highland Craft show at the Civic Center. We parked in the Civic Center garage, and walked out to Rankin street, not knowing a thing about this area of town. We strolled up Rankin a bit, and saw a sign above the door of this place touting Asheville's best burgers. So, we went it. You order at the end of the bar and then sit down. I enjoyed the vibe of this place. The Vault Burger was extremely salty. Kind of a bummer given that this is supposed to be one of the better burgers in Asheville. The tater tots just seem like tots from a bag. I’d say come here to drink and hang out and that’s about it.
They were cooking food for those in need. It was delicious! (They insisted we try it.)The people there were absolutely the kindest too.
