“We stopped here on our way through the area traveling with our pup. It was a busy Sunday crowd and they still offered a bowl of water for our pup and brought our juices outside for us too. The food was equally amazing and we’re so happy we stumbled upon this spot. Would definitely recommend !!“

“The staff is so sweet and helpful ALWAYS! I'm gluten free, not by choice, and feel pretentious when asking about gluten free choices. Not at Sweet Escapes! They usually know off hand which flavors are celiac friendly, and if they don't, they're quick to check their list, and NEVER make me feel like "one of those gluten free people" . Sweet Escapes is 5 fantastic stars every single time.“

“I love Romeo’s but they need to appreciate their customers more by adding accommodations such as sides of chili or slaw or something as simple as jalapeños on their chili cheese fries. If people are willing to pay, give it to them man. Do better, please.“

“Our new favorite place to get ready made meals. Recently took my kids (11&6) who are picky eaters and they loved the food. Great atmosphere and excellent service! I enjoyed talking to Andy and Jacob who are very personable and knowledgeable.“

The pastries are delicious and their smoothies are wonderful. They do have a kitchen with more substantial food which we will try next time we're in Asheville.
Devin ( Hi from a fellow Blue Texan) is an amazing employee who has a great sense of humor and made our time there so much better.
Fun eatery where you can meet others pretty easily or stay to yourself . Great location so you can get food there and then walk around the downtown area all at the same time.

“Our lunch was delicious! The restaurant and city are recovering from the hurricane, so the menu was limited, but very tasty! We had delicious salad, sweet potato fries, the soup of the day, and a BLT wrap with slaw. The salad and fries were our favorites. Great gluten free options, and a nice cafe location with patio. The staff did a great job despite the challenges they are facing. Thank you Green Sage!!! We appreciate your service and delicious food for those with allergies and dietary restrictions ?

“The food was very very good. We all enjoyed all the meals. However I did not like the mandatory 10% service charge and a request for tip when signs are present in the dining room requesting guests to bus your own tables. The order takers at the register stated the 10% service charge is to pay for the back of the house. Isn't that what the food charge is for? It's a shame that a restaurant with such good food has such a terrible business model.“

“The food was amazing, the smoothie was ok. It wasn't TERRIBLE, it just wasn't really my cup of tea, in a manner of speaking, there was nothing wrong with how it was made, personal preference being what it is...I didn'tcare for the flavor. Now, leave the help out, put in LESS turmeric and a little more orange juice and coconut milk, it would have been aMAZING. The service was great, it's a really cute place and they have a LOT of really yummy looking stuff on their menu, especially vegan options. Give it a try, its spicy, its yummy, it's different and charming.❤“
