“We were in town visiting family. Thankful they shared such a good find with us. All our meals were great, prepared well and tasty. The service was good. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. Also... SHOUT OUT to the girl who was working the pick up orders. She was KICKING BUTT out there! We ate inside, but definitely recognized how hard she was working! Light blond hair and braids... if she served you and you didn't tip... shame on you. She was working hard with a smile on her face, hustlin! Thank you!!“

“We had a wonderful wine tasting at Overmountain! My husband and I have now been to 5 vineyards in the Hendersonville and Tryon areas...Overmountain is our new favorite. The wine is very special!

“Nana's is the friendliest cafe in the Tryon, Landrum, and Columbus area. It is also one of the few places serving breakfast daily. Great home-cooked food at very reasonable prices. Kristy, the owner, is a real sweetheart, managing to greet everyone with a smile while keeping every table happy and coffee cups filled, even with every table filled. Daily specials for lunch. Don't miss the Taco Salad on Fridays.“

“Personally I have a mini checklist for a cafe to be good, this place hit it all.

1. the vibes are good, tons of space for groups to gather and talk.
2. Coffee is good, you got all the basics and specials.
3. The blueberry cheesecake 🫐
4. Couches, it’s a weird thing but I love to see soft seating options besides just wooden chairs.
5. Decor, it’s very well decorated with plants and good style.
6. Kind service

“OK, it's not the best taco I've ever had but pretty darn good. It hit several positive buttons--fresh, hot, simple, inexpensive, good service, nice people. Health rating was posted on the front window--94.5. My search for authentic Mexican or Tex-Mex led me here. This place is hard to find. It's a food truck next to a gas station with a sign out front that says "Food Center" in the very small town of Dana. They have some outside picnic tables to sit at. I'll be back to try some other menu items.“
