Tenango's Mexican Restaurant in Flat Rock, NC looks like a gas station but it’s a full restaurant. The food was good, amazing, delicious, and phenomenal. The servings size were huge. The agua frescas were also huge and last the whole meal. The house named steak dinner, specifically the Steak Tenangos, was by far the best ever. The shrimp poblano tacos were also delicious. The service was excellent. The waitresses and waiters were fantastic, on top of their game, funny, fast, patient, and quickly fixed others' mistakes. The restaurant was nice and quiet with lots of TVs to watch. It felt more like a bar and grill, and the lighting was a little bright. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
