Our first time at Cracker Barrel and it did not disappoint. The girls had the burger and it was very good. We tried the baked French toast that was delicious. Good service and the store area is pretty fun to browse before and after eating. Tons of old time (60's & 70's) snacks, candy and soda brands.
We stopped in on way home at 1pm on Saturday from South Carolina. The restaurant was not busy and were immediately seated at the rear of the restaurant. This is mentioned as I have a disability which causes obvious difficulty for me to walk. Our waitress never smiled once during our encounter. After 30 minutes and watching other tables be served who had been seated after us receive their food our waitress finally returned. This is the first time that I have ever gone to this crackle barrel restaurant and have not only had poor service but the food was not up to their standards or mine.The boneless chicken breast was over cooked.The Mac & cheese and my greens barely had any warmth to them.
