“There are 2 spots I favor and Green River is one of them. Definitely a must-go-to spot. They have a variety of home-made sauces. A basic necessity for any real BBQ spot. Everything I've had here over the last 2 years I've left with a happy full belly

*update: went there they other day as I was in some dire need of sliced brisket. The last two places I went it was like a medium steak and kind of dry. NOT here. Just backs my review up. Also...noticed you can opt to buy the kitchen a round of drinks. Beer $10 (+tax). So I sure did.

Beans! Not a classic brown sugar mollases style. Hybrid as meat, not coney island dog style,and beans. A touch of sweetness but not much. If you want a new spin on beans, get them”

“This place is great! They have something for everyone. My mom enjoys the knick knacks and antiques. My son and I love their rare collection of rocks and gems. The jewelry is lovely, there is a large collection of books. They even have taxidermy, they got it all! The staff is very knowledgeable and super friendly.”

“This is a super cool place! If you haven’t been here yet, you need to go. The owner is very down to earth, and all of the folks are so friendly. Always great service!! Such a neat little nook of Saluda. Grab a bite at the Onion then come hang here! We’re musicians and have played here several times and are treated so well and supported every time we perform!”

“Ups- I’ve really never thought rice was more than a side dish.
Down side - I could not pull my husband away from the make your own salsa bar. He ate so much of the hot salsa that his nose ran.
Well worth the trip and very well priced!”

“My husband made a reservation last night on Rezzy, but the restaurant had no reservation for us. We went to another restaurant and tried to be seated without a reservation, and finially returned. The owner hostess sat us immediately. It was fun being in the old Greyhound bus terminal, all the lives that passed that building! The service was fantastic and team focused! I had we had argula salad, with juillianed watermellon radish with dates and hazel nut nuts- Amazing. we had Pita bread with pramasean cheese, moutain trout and hanger steak with crispy potaos. All was delicious but the dish that topped all was the olive oil cake with blood oranges and basil. so unique- not sweet, an amazing refreshing combination of flavors I'v not expierenced before. Top grades to the chef/owner. I love that this is a couple running a restaurant, totally want to support that! GO!”

“Guys there is no better place to get a sub, specifically due to their bread. It's actual bread!! Most places like to use the soft, doughy, 3/4 of the way baked type bread, but not Side Street. It actually has a crust! Get your subs here if you are person of substance that dislikes raw bread!!”

“Breakfast was Amazing we both had the Omelet. I had the Denver and Gordon had the meat lovers. So good! The potatoes were a nice surprise with sweet potatoes as well. The orange marmalade and the orange slice on the thick toast made the perfect dessert. Service was fast and friendly. I Can’t wait to take the grand baby for ice cream. 5 stars for sure.”
