“Wonderful atmosphere, great server, delicious food and masterful cocktails. We arrived early to sit by the fireplace and munch on light appetizer tidbits while enjoying our first cocktail. The weather did not cooperate as the clouds obscured the breath taking view of the mountains from our intimate dining table. The background music complemented the stately vibe. We will return.”

“Great little bar in downtown Saluda to grab a drink. They had a good selection of local craft beer on tap, as well as a fridge full of cans and bottles. The bartender was on the ball and very sweet. She knew all the locals by name and was able to recommend beers to the new people that came in based on their taste. Was obvious that she knew the menu very well. I was impressed, a very friendly spot. I can see why so many locals like coming here. You can sit at the bar or they have a good size area outside with seating.”

“Saluda just keeps getting better and better and this great little restaurant is another reason to come here! -Nicely remodeled with plenty of outdoor but warm seating, even in January...can't wait till spring and summer to roll up the awnings and enjoy the breeze and the views.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian taco with sweet potatoes & beans, de-lish! Fish Taco too, and cucumber jalapeño margarita was yummy!”

“This was one of our most fabulous meals in Western NC!!!! What a wonderful surprise to have a world class French restaurant up here. The chef was warm, friendly and informative, the waiter was also but more importantly.....the food was outstanding.....an explosion of tastes with every dish. Looking forward to going back soon.”

“New owners are pleasant. Trying very hard to do everything themselves and learn everything. I ordered 2 of the same subs and did have to make sure they added the correct toppings. In time, I'm sure they will be great once they get the hang of it. Our subs were delicious even though not 100% correct. Will return in the future.”

It's got to be the best pizza we have ever tried! the pizza dough was incredible, the balsamic drizzle on my Margaritaville pizza was so delicious, my husband loved his Head Honcho pizza and my toddler devoured his whole chicken Arepa! “Had a wonderful meal at Haus Heidelberg German Restaurant after walking 4 miles on the Oklawaha Greenway today. I got soup and sandwich with red cabbage and potato salad and for desert peaches and icecream. Yummo!!The best lentil soup I have ever had. I would go back and just have this soup. It was packed with flavor but had this wonderful sweetness. Ruben was on point. The red cabbage was sweet like a jam and I wish i had saved the rolls to put some on them. Last the potato salad, hot German potato salad is one of those things that I love. This one was perfect. Everyone needs to go and try this restaurant. This was my second time going and will not be my last.”

“This was absolutely amazing! We are visiting from Florida and we just happened to come across this beautiful place! Everywhere else we’ve been we’re all closed, and it was fate running into this place! The staff were very friendly and it is such a quaint little ice cream shop. If we stop by this part of North Carolina again, we are sure to come back to this place!”

“Ordered lunch today as it was recommend by a co worker for their sandwiches. Was thrilled they had a Reuben as they are hard to find lately. I asked about the soups but neither really took my interest so I just ordered the sandwich and chip. When I got there the owner had put in a cup of soup for me on the house. Super nice of him. Although I'm not a huge fan of chicken noodle soup I will say it was delicious and the sandwich was perfect. Will definitely be back! The food was only surpassed by the service”

“Wow - this was the best scooped frozen custard I've ever had. I am a big purist when it comes to ice cream and other frozen desserts. I don't order blended, topped, mixed stuff. I want only the dessert in its purest form. And this place is excellent for that. It was super refreshing after an afternoon of hiking. We got fast service and very generous servings. I could only eat about 2/3 of the double scoop. My husband had about 3/4 of a medium Whit-zer (? Sorry if I'm spelling that wrong!).”

So much good food, so much good flavor, so much good hospitality as she helped carry the food to our table. So much good. Go. Your belly will be happy. We'll be going back again, and again...busy road noise, but terrific food.”

“This place is amazing. We came for a bday dinner w 10 girls...I could see how this place even better with having dinner or drinks outside when it gets warm.. we still managed to take great pictures. I put 4 for service only be cause I and my friends asked how much was a bottle of wine just be cause most of us has been drinking the same rose by the glass and we wanted a bottle. Asked 4 different times and we never got a response. I don't get why such a big secret.. we still got a bottle. FOOD had amazing taste , we all loved it! I'm putting few pictures.”
