“Been a fan for ever….. but yesterday I got a triple scoop of coffee and cookies n cream….. and it was covered with some watery blue substance - I asked nicely to have it replaced and the young man scraped some of the blue and some of the ice cream off of it and handed it back with a “humpf” …..really?…… when I asked for a refund , he pushed six dollars of my $6.75 back at me with another “humpf”….. REALLY?”

“I live 30 minutes away from Brevard so every time I go to Walmart to get prescriptions I stop by Subway for a foot-long Sub sandwich. Today , I got a BMT not toasted for the first time in years and it was great !! I had a whole salad added to it consisted of Lettuce, Tomatoes , Red Onions, Bell peppers, Banana Peppers, Jalapeños, and some Mayo, Mustard, and a splash of Red Vinaigrette, Yummy!! Every time I come here , I always get welcomed and everyone is always so nice. Definitely one of the nicer stores around.”

“We come up to Brevard most every summer to attend concerts at the Brevard Music Center, and stop by Cup & Saucer at least once during that time. The coffee is great - love an Americano! - and the baked goods and quiches are as well. I’m seriously craving one of their fantastic fig and almond biscotti today. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Jenny is a dear as well as all her colleagues whose names I don’t know. If this was a “number of stars” review I’d give them 10! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“If you are looking for THE BEST pastries look no further. We visit every time we are in town and it gets better and better ( not sure how that is possible). Their chocolate croissants 🥐 are my go to but we have discovered their blueberry cheese danish. OH MY! Delicious! Please try them for yourself and see why they are 5 ⭐️ stars!”

“Awesome, love the constantly changing ciders based on time of year. Never a long wait either with plenty of seating.
My only complaint is some of the bar staff can have zero personality or be outright rude which is very off putting. Other than the interactions with them, 5 stars.”

Especially loved the kombucha options! Wish every brewery offered them. This place is at our family’s top local spots after just one visit.”

“Great food, great value, friendly staff. It’s not every day that the person who cooks your food comes out to ask for your feedback. I was recommended to eat here from a few friends. Had wings with two sauces. I tried the jerk wet sauce and the New Orleans dry rub. The dry rub was my favorite and just enough spice. It also seems that they make their own ranch here. Kind of a red ranch. Loved it and my food!”

The atmosphere is wonderful... these mountains frame this farm so perfectly. The menu is delectable in its options and seasonal variability. I'm a 50 year, born here local... this is my 8th time enjoying eating here at The Silo at Horse Shoe Farm. So, this is not a one off, or a hastily performed review. I've partaken all the James Beard Asheville chefs for a while now...as well as any and all "new best thing restaurant" that comes to be. Nothing...I repeat, nothing in WNC compares to The Silo. You will not be disappointed. And if...if you are and you communicate it- they will make it right. You will have one of the best meals of your life.”
