“First perk was plenty of parking. The whole location was very impressive upon walking in. All of the staff were great and happy to be there. This is different from the original Burial locations and they nailed the theme here. Plenty of great options to drink, including wine and mixed drinks. The food selection was good and mostly well priced. Our favorite part was exploring the property and it's rich history. So much room for gatherings big and small. Next time I would like to do a tour though.“

“First time at Salt Face Mule tonight. This place is awesome, highly recommend anyone in the Asheville area to come check this place out. Such a fun atmosphere, great food, and a great time all around. Our bartender Kyle was an awesome guy who gave us great recommendations for things to see and do while we’re visiting here. We’re visiting family in the area and I’ll definitely be back to this place the next time we’re back in town. Awesome job tonight guys and we appreciate it! - Chase and Rose“

“We come to the pub EVERY time we are visiting Asheville and they NEVER disappoint! The bartender Jose was very attentive and rocked service for us. He has a great personality, managed to serve our party of six, accommodate us perfectly as well as taking equally great care of all of the other patrons. We came in as soon as they opened and got hot fresh delicious food and drinks with a friendly smile and welcoming service. We highly ,highly recommend this place! Award winning jumbo chicken wings, the Cuban is killer! We also had gyro's and they were spot on as well. Fried pickles will be scorching hot when you get them but they are sooooo good you won't want to wait to dig in! but wait a few minutes trust me! Jose makes amazing drinks and goes with the flow even when every beer he goes to pour the kegs blow, but he had wonderful recommendations for alternatives. Go see them, they also have an awesome patio!!!!!“

White Labs Brewing Co - Asheville Kitchen & Tap Brewery • $$

“Fantastic Experience at White Labs Brewery!

White Labs Brewery is an absolute gem for anyone who appreciates great food, craft beer, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. We had the pleasure of enjoying two of their wood-fired pizzas, and they were nothing short of spectacular. The crust was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of char, and the toppings were fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully paired. Each bite was a delight!

The brewery itself is a wonderful blend of laid-back vibes and a deep passion for brewing. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, offering excellent beer recommendations that perfectly complemented our pizzas. The beers were top-notch, showcasing the creativity and expertise that White Labs is known for.

What really stood out was the attention to detail in everything they do—from the food to the brews to the service. It’s clear that White Labs Brewery takes pride in providing an exceptional experience, and they absolutely delivered.

Whether you’re a craft beer enthusiast, a foodie, or just looking for a great spot to relax and enjoy some delicious wood-fired pizza, White Labs Brewery is a must-visit. We can’t wait to return!“

“Best sushi I’ve had! I came for my birthday and ordered the Electric Eel roll and was so happy with my choice. This roll had the perfect consistency with so many layers of flavor. You got the creaminess of the cream cheese and the avocado mixed with the savory flavor of the crab and salmon topped with the slightest slice of lemon and eel sauce that ties it all together. A great choice for a tasty roll that will fill you up!“

“We came here as for our date night dining adventure, which we do so rarely, and it was nothing short of a wonderful experience! We had the nachos, artichoke quarters, and Buffalo shrimp as our appetizers, then the fish & chips, and beet salad as our entrees, with ginger beer and a liquor flight as our drinks. The food was all so flavorful and beautiful, the attention to detail in the plating was fantastic, and everything arrived quickly. The apps were amazing, the batter on the shrimp was fantastic, the artichokes were scrumptious, and the nachos were loaded and wonderful, larger than expected! The sauces served with the apps paired perfectly with them, and I'm already craving the artichokes again, just writing this! The salad was a perfect balance of sweet and savory, as the spring mix was tossed in a vinaigrette first, then topped with the beets, goat cheese and candied pecans, which gave it a perfect amount of sweetness. The fish & chips were amazing, the cod fillets were perfectly battered and fried, no fishy taste at all. The tallow fries were delicious, and reminded us of how yummy fries used to taste, when tallow was the norm. My husband declared these to be the best fish & chips in Asheville, and he's a tough critic! We ended up getting a bottle of the Rye Whiskey to take home, as that one really stood out on the liquor flight. Since we bought a bottle, the price for the liquor flight was comped, which we thought was a very nice touch. The service was impeccable- our server, Lauren, was calm, friendly, informative, and was there exactly at the right time, for every interaction. We went at 6:30 on a Saturday night, and our table was ready with waters waiting for us as soon as we walked in- I felt like royalty! The atmosphere was perfect, classy but casual, the kind of place that you could spend a lot of time in, and at no point did we feel rushed. The prices were very reasonable for this level of dining, and we will definitely be back- I think we found a new date night place- and a good reason to do that more often!

Parking: There is plenty of parking, which is free and very accessible.“
