The Surfwax IPA was outstanding. Bought a six pack to take home. Great rustic atmosphere. Large picnic tables to share. Upstairs appeared to be more intimate ie..smaller tables and a lounge area. The bread plate had cheese, bacon jam, infused butter and blackberries served with a sourdough bread. All very fresh and tasty. The staff was friendly and very attentive....read full review
Excellent beers and food! This place has it all! They have an amazing selection of beers on tap, awesome seating options, history, and some of the best food I've eaten in Asheville. I'd say this is a must visit and if your local you already know this is the place to take friends and family!
Lively, interesting eatery with creative menu options that taste great. Order at the bar and they'll bring it to your table. I had brisket Mac and cheese and loved it. Everyone in our group loved the food.
