I mostly try to avoid chains when I am on vacation, but this place was open very early and close to our hotel and we needed breakfast before heading out in the early morning for hiking. I was very pleasantly surprised! The pumpkin bagel was nice and crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Much better than your usual chain bagel place!
As I sit here and eat my smoked salmon on onion bagel, I decided to read the negative comments. I stop here when i'm in the area, maybe 6 times a year. Some complain about snarky employees, I've never experienced that. Complaints about slow service, this isn't mcdonald's, it takes time to toast, spread cream cheese, and put on toppings. The folks making the bagel orders are friendly and the food tastes great. Ellis is a smooth operator at the registers so check-out is super fast. 5 Stars.
