“Great spot in the river arts… aka “the soccer bar” always has on proper football when in season and does a good job of playing other sporting events as well. Has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating which is a plus! Also , can’t forget to mention the slamming food truck! Thanks OLR we love you “

“We come to the pub EVERY time we are visiting Asheville and they NEVER disappoint! The bartender Jose was very attentive and rocked service for us. He has a great personality,managed to serve our party of six, accommodate us perfectly as well as taking equally great care of all of the other patrons. We came in as soon as they opened and got hot fresh delicious food and drinks with a friendly smile and welcoming service. We highly ,highly recommend this place! Award winning jumbo chicken wings, the Cuban is killer! We also had gyro's and they were spot on as well. Fried pickles will be scorching hot when you get them but they are sooooo good you won't want to wait to dig in! but wait a few minutes trust me! Jose makes amazing drinks and goes with the flow even when every beer he goes to pour the kegs blow, but he had wonderful recommendations for alternatives. Go see them, they also have an awesome patio!!!!!“

“First time visiting this place it was good. Prices were ok atmosphere was nice love the open concept and layout. We had wings and nachos and the party melt. The beer was not very cold. Had the salt and vinagre fries and they tasted like regular fries the melt was average I couldn’t taste the meat only the caramelized onion and mustard sauce… service was good very attentive and quick….“

“I went for the first time last week as they were serving periogies and salads. There were 3 of us so we had a platter of 12 periogies and 2 salads, a beet salad and a green salad plus 2 flights of a mixture of wine and cider. We had a wonderful time sharing awesome delicious food, the clientele were amazing and so friendly and helpful along with tasty wine and cider. We ended the meal with a nice dessert. I would highly recommend this place for ambiance, food and the staff. Definitely 5 star place to try if you haven’t been. ⭐️?❤️“

“I visited the establishment primarily for the availability of dart boards, as I find it regrettable that many bars lack this valuable amenity. We partook in a meal and engaged in conversation with some of the local residents. My friends and i thoroughly enjoyed our time.“

“They state that the bar and grill is, "cozy and quirky".... and it was. Traveling through Asheville NC, we met friends and the ladies decided to do a lunch and some thrift shopping. We found a place in West Asheville that was really fun. DeSoto Lounge was small, eclectic, and had a reasonably priced brunch menu. Dogs are allowed at the outside seating area. We split a club sandwich with a salad, chips. The food was fine, it was the music and atmosphere which was the step back into the '70's. The entire area was filled with vintage clothing stores, crystal/rock shops and other reto pubs. Quite an ecclect experience.“

“Hot, filling home-style food, generous portions, fairly reasonable prices, friendly personable staff and awesome drinks. Nice, clean and shady outdoor seating. As with a lot of other places though, the music was far too loud and I found it quite difficult to carry on a conversation with anyone and it seemed as though the volume got louder the later it got, so by the end of my meal I was particularly over-stimulated and annoyed and ready to get the heck out of there. BUT...that doesn't keep me from going back again and again. I love this place!!!

Parking: Good luck finding available street parking but there are several low priced garages just a short walk away.“
