“The staff at the Barrelhouse is great. From the time we arrived until a few hours later when we left, our party was treated wonderfully. Big kudos to the two young ladies running the front of the house! The Barrelhouse has a decent menu with some bar food standards and some surprised. We ordered the fried deviled eggs (definitely recommend) and the cheddar and onion perogies (also recommend). The garlic parmesan wings were crispy and flavorful. The fries and sandwiches were ok. We would visit again to try more appetizers and because the staff is so great!“

“Lots of wonderful choices for ciders and wines. The ciders and wines are pet nat which means single fermentation, natural bubbles, and no added sugars or other ingredients. The bartender Jim was knowledgeable. We tried the Deep Thoughts Flight and the Anything Goes Flight. This was a fun, relaxing experience. The atmosphere is modern, French inspired, and classy. Highly recommend.“

“We went here after our trip through the Biltmore estate. We loved the pickles and fava toast appetizers! They really hit the spot. All of our meals were very good, fresh and delicious.
One of our favorite parts of the meal was our server, Chris. He was extremely professional, engaged and timed our meal perfectly. I so appreciate a high level of service and Chris delivered. He made our experience that much more enjoyable.“

I would recommend 1) Something to keep the tables from wobbling. 2) A menu with accurate pricing. My bill was different than the menu suggested.“

“I have loved this establishment for over a decade! The servers and owners are amazing. It's a dive bar/locals bar...if you can't handle a dive bar, then don't come. The food is awesome and brunch is where it's at! Thank me later after you put the biscuits and gravy in your mouth!“

“If you’re in Asheville you HAVE to check out Shamrock Irons and grab a beer from Collin. During our trip we spent hours here hanging out, chatting, listening to great music, having crisp beer and loaded fries. Collin went above and beyond giving us local recommendations and being very welcome. 10/10 experience!“
