Cellarest Beer Project Reviews
Cellarest was a fun little place. It's tiny, but they had outdoor seating and a food truck on-site. The gal serving up the brew was awesome, fun, and friendly. She knew all about her brews and was engaging. I didn't fall in love with the brews we tried, but they were all tasty and fresh. In a town with as many breweries as Asheville it's hard not to find a bunch of repeats with different names. That wasn't the case on our visit here.
Great lagers. It’s nice to find a draft list that isn’t loaded with hazy IPAs. Their beers remind me a lot of Halfway Crooks in Atlanta, making seemingly boring styles that taste great. The service was also exceptional.

I love a good dark beer and this place had one that was dark and really smooth, lacking that awful bitterness that some dark beers get. It’s so cozy inside! I love being there. Lots of plants. It almost has a cafe vibe! I would bring my dad there as well as a friend or a date, lol! The staff indeed is exceptional. They know their beers and are so incredibly warm and welcoming. These folks have a great thing going.
