“They must have upped their game a bit because everything was actually pretty good this time. The chips n salsa chips were fresh and crispy and salty like they should be. Burger was good, some new items on the menu and most importantly, they seemed to be staffed somewhat as the entire restaurant was open.“

If you love beer or cocktails and you need an early dinner, this is a great happy hour. You can get a huge chicken sandwich that tastes high quality for $9 or a delicious burger for $12. Drinks range from $3 - $10. They have plenty of cocktail and beer options during the happy hour as well. The only thing I wish they did was a red and white house wine with the happy hour menu as well. Other than that this is perfect for people who want a fancy delicious experience without the high price tag.
The happy hour definitely made me want to come back for the full dinner menu! I will 100000% be back.“

“My friends and I stopped in while we were on a weekend trip in Asheville. We didn’t know what to expect and were surprised by the vibe there, but we had a great time! The owner, Imran(sp?), took us under his wing, gave us a quick tour, and talked with us for a bit. We had a great time!“

“The Low Down in West Asheville is absolutely amazing! It’s tucked just off Haywood next to The Hop you have to go downstairs to get to it, and the space is gorgeous. Everything here feels thoughtfully designed, from the decor to the lighting sconces, bar, booths, and wall art it’s unlike anywhere else. I wish I had taken pictures because it’s truly stunning.
The drinks are hand-crafted and top-notch, with some ingredients made in-house. Even the glassware is beautiful. There’s a fun game I’d never seen before they called it shuffleboard but not like my great grandads shuffle board, it was unique and the people playing it had a good time, and it adds to the vibe.
I went alone and sat at the bar, and the bartender was friendly, attentive, and fun to chat with even while busy. The overall vibe is a perfect mix of a warm, welcoming neighborhood bar with a classy, art-deco, decadent feel. Prices are fair, and the attention to detail is incredible. I’ve gone back twice, and each time it’s just as cozy, sophisticated, and enjoyable. I love this place!“

“Asheville Club is a great spot day or night. They have a wide variety of beers on tap, a full bar, and wine. They regularly have live music in the evenings and when the weather is good, open up the big doors. It's also a great spot for people watching. It's hands down our favorite spot for espresso martinis in Asheville.“

“Great local spot for a beer and a good hang. Large parking lot makes it easy to get in and out. 4 TV's available in the tap room for viewing (feel free to ask for a channel change if needed). Food truck has unfortunately been closed for a long time but rotating food trucks are normally on site. There are a few light snack options. Always able to bring food from other spots or have something delivered. The bartenders are all nice and knowledgeable. For the nicer days there is a large outdoor patio to sit under cover. Corn hole and shuffleboard on site with ID deposit. Taproom has a kids area with a bunch of toys and coloring books as well as card and board games for the adults. Boom box bingo every 1st and 3rd Sunday from 7-9pm. 15 taps with several that rotate beers. ViDL wines available by the glass or bottle. Stop by and see us!“

“Great set up. Wine and Roses is the brain child of the Zelda Dearest Hotel. It has a great patio setting where you can bring your own charcuterie or other foods and you purchase wine from the bar. You don't have to be a hotel guest to enjoy the setting. The patio is large with nice table/chair setups as well as small conversation couches and chairs. Soft music was playing in the background adding to the ambiance. We were there in early April and as it started to get chilly we packed up the snacks and headed inside to finish our wine. That's where we met Jake, an employee of the hotel who took time to not only chat with us but also provided great information on various places to experience during our stay. The bar area is art deco style with beautiful period pieces. If you are staying in Asheville please take the time to visit Wine and Roses. The wine is really good and the bartender is very helpful in choosing what you like. I look forward to visiting again!“

“I am one of the organizers for a monthly network gathering group. We chose to go to DSSOLVR and VOWL for our event this month. We had approximately 200 folks there this past Tuesday (January 14, 2024). The staff nailed it at both bars. Serving 200 people at one time can be a challenge... the staff did not disappoint. It was an extremely welcoming evening from the start to the finish. The owners and management were awesome to work with and delivered everything that they promised and more. They provided a DJ for us (DJ Abu Dissarray), which made the evening even that much more fun. Many of the event-goers had not been to either of these bars, but I heard from many folks that they planned on going back due to the friendliness of the staff and the treatment that we received. “We had so much fun here. The specialty drinks were amazing and not crazy expensive. I have never felt comfortable enough to dance at a bar before and I danced here and it was absolutely incredible. The drag show was so much fun and the performers were very sweet. The bartender kept checking back to see if we needed drinks and when we said we were a little too tipsy to get another shot she made sure we had water without even asking. She also made sure our DD had free Coke as long as we were there. Absolutely incredible bartenders. I had such a great time here and will be back!“

“Funky, fun, dive bar on the South Slope. They have great glizzies(hot dogs) too!! My favorite is the Ultimate Warrior hot dog!! Drinks were cold and good, glizzies were hot, and the service was great!! I love coming over here when there is a show at Eulogy for cheaper drinks and a bite to eat“

“The comedy shows in The Orange Peel's Comedy Basement, Pulp Lounge, are AMAZING with some of the areas bast comics performing plus a comedy open mic. The host Cody Hughes is fantastic and the bar staff is wonderful!“
“Best broccoli cheddar soup I have ever enjoyed! Grit cakes with onion jalapeño topping out of this world! Incredible shrimp and chicken, delicious salads with great dressing. Top it all of with a delectable blueberry tart, you can’t go wrong. Next time we’ll try one of the bowl meals. Staff is wonderful, too.“

“Small and quaint; clean and calm old school place, a house turned into a Tavern. The staff was friendly. We did not eat so cannot rate the food but what food was prepared smelled delicious, we had a soda from a can.
We were able to play pool without interruptions. The pool table is coin operated.“
