“Small and quaint; clean and calm old school place, a house turned into a Tavern. The staff was friendly. We did not eat so cannot rate the food but what food was prepared smelled delicious, we had a soda from a can.
We were able to play pool without interruptions. The pool table is coin operated.“

“They must have upped their game a bit because everything was actually pretty good this time. The chips n salsa chips were fresh and crispy and salty like they should be. Burger was good, some new items on the menu and most importantly, they seemed to be staffed somewhat as the entire restaurant was open.“

If you love beer or cocktails and you need an early dinner, this is a great happy hour. You can get a huge chicken sandwich that tastes high quality for $9 or a delicious burger for $12. Drinks range from $3 - $10. They have plenty of cocktail and beer options during the happy hour as well. The only thing I wish they did was a red and white house wine with the happy hour menu as well. Other than that this is perfect for people who want a fancy delicious experience without the high price tag.

One thing I particularly liked was how well all the dishes were seasoned. A bit of heat here, a bit of spice there, and a dash of sweet when needed. And speaking of sweet, the lemon curd cheesecake is a wonder. I love it when the cheesecake part of the cheesecake isn't oversweet. The lemon curd gives a sweet and tart compliment to the creaminess of the dairy in the dish. It's dangerous, I tell you! We'll be back for more.“

Vibes are sultry, funky, and inviting for a solo traveler but would also be a great spot for a date night or girls’ night. “Great local spot for a beer and a good hang. Large parking lot makes it easy to get in and out. 4 TV's available in the tap room for viewing (feel free to ask for a channel change if needed). Food truck has unfortunately been closed for a long time but rotating food trucks are normally on site. There are a few light snack options. Always able to bring food from other spots or have something delivered. The bartenders are all nice and knowledgeable. For the nicer days there is a large outdoor patio to sit under cover. Corn hole and shuffleboard on site with ID deposit. Taproom has a kids area with a bunch of toys and coloring books as well as card and board games for the adults. Boom box bingo every 1st and 3rd Sunday from 7-9pm. 15 taps with several that rotate beers. ViDL wines available by the glass or bottle. Stop by and see us!“

“I am one of the organizers for a monthly network gathering group. We chose to go to DSSOLVR and VOWL for our event this month. We had approximately 200 folks there this past Tuesday (January 14, 2024). The staff nailed it at both bars. Serving 200 people at one time can be a challenge... the staff did not disappoint. It was an extremely welcoming evening from the start to the finish. The owners and management were awesome to work with and delivered everything that they promised and more. They provided a DJ for us (DJ Abu Dissarray), which made the evening even that much more fun. Many of the event-goers had not been to either of these bars, but I heard from many folks that they planned on going back due to the friendliness of the staff and the treatment that we received. “We had so much fun here. The specialty drinks were amazing and not crazy expensive. I have never felt comfortable enough to dance at a bar before and I danced here and it was absolutely incredible. The drag show was so much fun and the performers were very sweet. The bartender kept checking back to see if we needed drinks and when we said we were a little too tipsy to get another shot she made sure we had water without even asking. She also made sure our DD had free Coke as long as we were there. Absolutely incredible bartenders. I had such a great time here and will be back!“

“Wandered into here one evening while strolling the south slope. Genuine dive bar like the sign says. It's also a private club, so they might refuse entry to non-members for whatever reason. They were cool with us, so no problem. I suspect bachelorette parties and other similarly obnoxious gangs might be turned away. $6 specials including 16oz Hamms can and a shot of house whiskey. Nice. They also sell Hotdogs, they are 6 or 6.50 with loaded options. Outdoor patio in the back.“
