“This place makes an excellent martini (with blue cheese olives). It's a cool environment, somewhat crowded, but the busy-ness adds to the appeal. I think they shine more in cocktails than in food. The burger is made with American cheese, to its detriment. Burrata was good, and the table tried some small Spanish-style fish. We had another OK pasta dish as well. Less likely to return for a meal but happy to come for drinks + apps.“

“Such a fun place with a great atmosphere! Staff were all so welcoming and helpful, and the food was FANTASTIC!!!! I am already looking forward to going back and getting the blackened catfish and more mac n cheese! Don't miss the fries, they are so unique in the best possible way, you have to try them. Also, I am NOT a pickle person so when I say I ate every single pickle on my plate, just know that's an incredible pickle. I wanted to make a custom vinyl for my boyfriend's birthday and did SO much research on which company to go with and I am so happy my gut told me to go with AVC! I wasn't expecting this rush order to be so fast and I think from the time I ordered until the day it was delivered, it was only 2 weeks! (I went in my custom vinyl hunt with the expectation of having it within a month). I was worried with how my custom cover was going to turn out and they were also able to send me a proof and also confirmation that my audio files were good to go. “We had such a great time! We were in town to see Biltmore and hike the Pisgah Forest and were looking for some live music. We started at the guitar bar at the other end of the building, but it was way too crowded and not what we were looking for. We heard the music from this place and wandered in. The band Binz was amazing and so much fun, the place is fun and funky and cozy with lots of art on the walls, and everybody was really friendly. And a guy came in with three big dogs that went around and said hi to everybody! The only thing is, we almost missed it because it was not on any of my Google searches!“
“Stopped here last week while int he area with my girlfriend. The beer selection is second to none. However, the menu is a 30 page folder. We stuck to the tap menu on Untappd for simplicity's sake. If you live there, direct the menu, but for a quick visit it is overwhelming. The atmosphere is neat, but it was cold, when they finally closed the big door, it warmed up a bit. The bartender was mostly disinterested and he was the only staff present. So Menu ... 5 stars ... but simplify it. Atmosphere ... 4 stars ... pretty cool, but cold and not that clean Service ... 3 stars“
“Our oldest son is in WCU so we visit as often as we can. We are all Pac-Man fans and arcades as well so we looked it up and oh boy did we hit the jackpot!!! We are a family of six - so to get a wristband for each it cost $60 ($10pp) for an entire day!! It was pure magic!! No coins in the machines - just press play!! It was hilarious to go downstairs and see my husband and my oldest sweating in out playing air hockey, my next two playing skee ball and my other son getting a high score on Donkey Kong!!! I also (I also got second place with the initials MOM)! The pinball machines - I could go on - it was such a fun day and I truly do highly recommend it!! We’ll be back soon!!!!“
“Awesome little corner bar facing the Woolworth building downtown. Great to watch the various Asheville citizenry from an open air window overlooking the street. Very small establishment but nice and chill. Beautiful bar and wooden bar tables. Best thing is the beer selection is spot on. I was planning to do an afternoon pub crawl but I mostly hung out here to drink.They also do some really great smelling coffee too for any friend of bill w out there still into the casual bar scene!“

“Definitely don't miss the onion fries! My burger was good and I would get it again... classic, and juicy, what more could you ask for. The beer selection is decent, but we happened to drop in during trivia and the music is crazy loud between questions. Our service was adequate. “This is one of Asheville's best neighborhood joints, and most kid-friendly bar/restaurants. There aren't enough places in this world where you can both have a beer and some BBQ, while watching your kid run around on a playground and splash in the creek with other little rascals.They've also got a nice sports bar type setup in the main tap house and a pretty popular trivia series. It's a multi generational spot and I really appreciate that.Food wise, their wings are phenomenal, burgers are rock solid, as is pizza. Ribs on Thursday nights are great, though I find the sauce a little sweet, and often order them dry with sauce on side. They make their food from scratch, service is really friendly, and bar staff are on point.Long story short, this place stays busy for good reason! If it's a nice weather night, expect the parking lot to be busy, and look for spots a little up the hill in their dirt lot.“

“Chai Pani is one of my favorite restaurants in the world! I’ve traveled to 16 countries, and this is easily one of the best if not THE best that I’ve had. The Chicken pakora nuggets, okra fries, and bhel puri are some of the best dishes you could ever taste. We’ve been multiple times and have never been disappointed!
